There will be no more interchanging between this story and Old Bear Stories by Jane Hissey. Please do not copy these chapters to any other website, this is a private book for reference to those who write and read and are unfamiliar with the stories since they may not have had access to them. I have no intentions of publishing this publicly at all if you see someone doing that they violate copyright law, you must report them immediately. This is a second edition book in which the stories were reprinted and not the exact original copy from 1902 "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus published in 1902 two years after his famous "The Wizard of Oz" book in 1900. This is for only educational purposes and social awareness only for those who do not have the capability of reading any story because they simply cannot purchase it or have no access to computers or wifi as it is very much a fairytale fantasy index book for me to keep track of all actual factual story mentions to help me work and prepare my own stories. And this story speaks a lot to me as a Christian and I will point out all references as I have been doing throughout the other books in my special () followed by my name as well friends.-Lumna10

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus

"Manhood" P4

(Chapter 16): Chapter 9- "Santa Claus"

Claus thought that none of the children would ever know where the toys came from which they found by their bedsides when they wakened the following morning. But kindly deeds are sure to bring fame, and fame has many wings to carry its tidings into far lands; so for miles and miles in every direction people were talking of Claus and his wonderful gifts to children. The sweetest generousness of his work caused a few selfish folk to sneer, but even these were forced to admit their respect for a man so gentle-natured that he loved to devote his life to pleasing the helpless little ones of his race.

Therefore the inhabitants of every city and village had been eagerly watching the coming of Claus, and remarkable stories of his beautiful playthings were told the children to keep them patient and contented.
When, on the morning following the first trip of Claus with his deer, the little ones came running to their parents with the pretty toys they had found, and asked from whence they came, there was but one reply to the question.
"The good Claus must have been here, my darlings; for his are the only toys in all the world!"
"But how did he get in?" asked the children.
At this the fathers shook their heads, being themselves unable to understand how Claus had gained admittance to their homes; but the mothers, watching the glad faces of their dear ones, whispered, "that the good Claus was no mortal man but assuredly a Saint, and they piously blessed his name for the happiness he had bestowed upon their children.
"A Saint," said one, with bowed head," has no need to unlock doors if it pleases him to enter our homes."
And, afterward, when a child was naughty or disobedient, its mother would say:
"You must pray to the good Santa Claus for forgivenes. He does not like naughty children, and, unless you repent, he will bring you no more pretty toys." ((As a Christian in my family within my house We don't pray to anyone, but God. You're not suppose to pray to anyone but him, this is why I do not write Catholic stories they have many constant misconceptions and overcomplicate things. And much of them they demand to believe to be true is actually truly impossible to be accepted as godly or logical. I do know some people who are Catholic who are not like this but they are believe quite scant in numbers, people. I just do not feel comfortable discussing Catholic cultural because I know some of it against my conscience and I'd rather talk about what is right and true in my stories. And every time whenever I heard the words "'Oh you should pray to so and so that isn't Jesus,'" (our only mediator between God and us), I have this honest glaring vision of Virgin Mary shaking her head and frowning in disapproval- that image isn't from me it comes from the Holy Spirit, Skylights- Lumna10))
