I have nothing bad to say about this movie. The heroine is exceptional, the villain is beyond wickedly great, and the backstories are on fire!
Pun intended because even the Dragons get a very amazing backstory not just Rapunzel.
100% percent believe the actress theory is true in the Barbie cartoon movie universe. Barbie acts as an actress as Rapunzel.
Stacey is 100% acting as Kelly in most of the older movies aside from Barbie in a Nutcracker and Barbie in a Christmas Carol that's Chelsi in that movie cause she has that updo. (She has had her mean moments as a sister even towards Barbie)
She admits like Kelly that she is not that artistically inclined as Barbie in Dreamhouse Adventures

Rapunzel played by Barbie 8 stars out of this world. Until Barbie in A Christmas Carol this is one of Barbie's Darkest movies but the great ending is the best light at the end of the tunnel!
Stephen is at the exact same ranking as his forever partner 8 stars out of this world because he honors Rapunzel's request not to tell her his name and makes sure the silversmith they visit doesn't give it away either. That's a proper Prince Charming there.
Hugo the Dragon-7 stars
Penelope the Dragon's Daughter at 6 stars.
King Fredrick is also at 6 stars.

If you like William Shakespeare's Juliet and Romeo you'll like this movie it sprinkles Rapunzel storyline with a tiny bit of that plays spice enough to keep the story going.
It's Barbie as Rapunzel with a Juliet and Romeo twist.
Rapunzel sidekick characters share the exact same personality with Sofia's Sidekicks.
Penelope and Crackle have twinning personalities and are both dragons.
Hobbie and Clover are both wild rabbits with the exact same personalities and wild eating frenzies too.
So it you like those Sofia The First Characters guess what they may have been inspired by Barbie as Rapunzel's sidekick characters.
Last thing, this movie subverts a whole of stereotypes. Rapunzel doesn't sing like the rest of her Barbie counterparts meaning just the Princesses nor does she ever happen to wish upon a star either.
This is not a Damsel in Distress story, it's a story of a slave who is actually a white person this time and how her search for the truth helps set her free by way of her hobby of art.

"Why didn't Rapunzel use her hair in this movie?! You ask?" In the fairytale the braids aren't what makes it strong and in this case because the hair is too close to her head and too close to her head and it wouldn't cover up the pain, a braid all...

"Why didn't Rapunzel use her hair in this movie?! You ask?" In the fairytale the braids aren't what makes it strong and in this case because the hair is too close to her head and too close to her head and it wouldn't cover up the pain, a braid allows the pain to carry, hair that is let out of its braid doesn't this is the exact same case for Rapunzel in Disney Tangled notice how she never grabs near her head as she uses her hair to leave situation that's why it doesn't hurt. You have to grab the whole chunk of hair near the head for it hurt that's why it is reccommend if some grabs you by the end of a ponytail to take your hair-tie out and let your hair fall down, because hairdo down falls apart easily and quite slippery to grab and you won't feel pain. It's just logic, Skylights!

We are finally done with the Different Rapunzel versions. Next chapters with cover Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs and The Grimm Brothers' tale of Snow White which the Disney movie is definitely based on there is an actual game where they have had the Evil Queen talk about the other plans she meant to use that comes directly from that story but only from one game. A mobile app called "Magic Kingdoms." in general media it is not movie cannon yet for Disney. App Logo Below in picture.
