Y/n's words started to blur together and my mind turned hysterical. I leaned against y/n for suppot as the blood dropped down my body. I felt so funny. I almost wanted to laugh. But my breaths were caught short and I was too dizzy to recognize anything. After a little while of trying to consider my surroundings, I started to feel very light. Almost like I wanted to close my eyes. Maybe I will..only for a bit...

You can rest your eyes... Murmured a dark voice in my head. Shut them for just a few moments... All you need is a few moments...

Each word made it harder and harder to keep awake. My eyes started to droop and the dizzy feeling made me feel like I wanted to hurl. So I gave in and closed my eyes.

Only for a little.. I told myself.

Y/n's POV:

One condition. The condition that determines the fate of Toby.

Toby was slumped against me, his breathing getting softer every moment that passed. I wrapped both my arms around him to hold him up. His face was pale, more pale than usual that is.

"You will be a proxy for me. You will do anything I say without question. You will never go against me or try and leave"

The voice boomed in my head. The few words made me freeze. I was going to have to work for the thing that killed Allie. If I go with Slender man, I will be trapped to do his bidding and I'd betray Allie. But if refuse, Toby will die.

I bit my tounge and looked from the being's souless face to Toby's bleeding wound. I tried to think of some excuse or something to stall for more time without giving up my future. But I realized my only future was in my arms, bleeding to death. I had no choice.  But before I could say even a word, Toby slumped completely.

My heart sank and a gently sat on the ground with his head in my lap. I checked his pulse, it was slow, too slow. I was running out of time. Slenderman stood and watched, almost in a condescending manner.

"If I do what you want... Will you really save him?" I said quickly, keeping the jacket pressed to his wound. Slenderman stood there for a moment, the only movement coming from the tendrils behind it's back. "I will"

I took a deep breath and nodded hesitantly. "I'll do it..." I said quietly. I looked down at Toby's pale face, brushing the hair from it. A small dribble of blood fell from the corner of his mouth.

I looked back up to It for a response to see nothing. Slenderman was gone. Tears stung the backs of my eyes. No no no. "Wait! You need to help him!" I yelled into the empty forest. Tears fell from my eyes and I wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with a trembiling hand. I leaned down to press a gentle kiss on his forehead. "Don't die... Come on... Please wake up..." I whispered, tears falling into Toby's face.

The few warm tears that fell on Toby's face made him stir. Toby's eyes fluttered open to be half-lidded. My breath hitched in my throat as I looked at him shocked. Toby sat up, rubbing his eyes. "What happened..?" He yawned, looking back at me. Toby's face contorted to concern. "W-why are you crying!?" He said immediately wrapped his arms around me.

I let out a quiet sob, "I thought you died..." I murmured, hugging back tightly. My eyed widened as I remmebered something, I looked down to see Toby's wound. It was healed. There was a pretty bad scar there, but it wasn't bleeding anymore.

"Do you feel better...?" I asked pushing up his hoodie to see the healed scar better. "I feel f-fine... I-I'm just a bit dizzy" Toby said, clumsily standing up while holding onto me.

I stood up with him so he would fall over. "We should go back to the camp.. You obviously lost a lot of blood..." I wiped my face of the tears and sighed. "Yeah o-okay.." Toby said before owning down quickly to press a kiss to my lips.

My eyes widened a bit, pleasantly surprised by the kiss. But I gladly returned it and started to walk back to our camp.

Toby's POV:

I laid in the tent, wrapped up in a sleeping bag. Y/n was outside of the tent trying to sew up the hole in my hoodie to the best of her abilities. Y/n told me to rest, even though that's the last thing I wanted now. I wanted to be next to her all the time now. I let out a content sigh, finally relaxing.

After a few minutes y/n came back with the hoodie. The hoodie was sewn back up, not at all perfect, but it was fixed. I sat up and took it in my hands, feeling the place where the fabric was sewed. " t-thank you.." I said softly, trying the hoodie back on. Y/n nodded and sat crossed-legged next to me. "You're welcome.." He said softly.

"W-wait.. Where's your jacket?" I asked, tilting my to look at her. She shrugged, "I have to clean it.. Since. Y'know.. It's kinda covered with your blood..." She chuckled slightly. "Oh.. yeah... I forgot about that..." I said, feeling a bit bad for her. She might be cold. I thought to myself.

I took off my hoodie and put it over y/n. "You can wear mine" I smiled. Y/n slipped her arms through the sleeves and put up the hood. Seeing her in my hoodie made me feel all giddy inside and I couldn't help but chuckle.

I pulled y/n closer and snuggled her under the sleeping bag with me. "Woah-" Y/n's eyes widened and she laughed slightly. "J-just for a little bit.." I murmured, nuzziling my face into the crook of her neck.

After a few hours of a nap I woke up feeling less dizzy. I kept my arms around y/n's waist and kissed her jaw softly, trying to wake her up gently. Y/n turned in her sleep and mumbled some gibberish.

I snickered quietly and gently rubbed her arm. "C'mon.. We gotta wake up now..." I cooed. Y/n yawned and opened her eyes. "Fine.." She mumbled, scooting as close as possible. I sighed and sat up with her in my arms. I rested my cheek on the top of her head, waiting for her drowsiness to fade.

When we both were finally awake we got from the tent and started to pack some supplies. I knew we couldn't take everything, but we needed to take things that were necessary. We took food, water, tools, aid-kits, clothes and as much other stuff as we could fit into our bags.

The woods sparkled with dew from earlier that morning. The sun shines through the leaves and illuminated the foliage. The trees seemed a lot more peaceful. The sky was soft blue and almost fully clear of clouds. A slight breeze blew though the greenery, making the branches and nature rattle in the wind.

Me and y/n said our goodbyes to the campsite and countinued our wandering through the woods. We intertwined out fingers and passed by the trees.

Y/n looked over at me and smiled. "Y'know.. I've had some time to think.. And I just wanted to say.. I love you"

My heart thundered in my chest at those words. "Really? A-Are you sure?" I asked, giving her hand a squeeze.

"Yeah, I'm sure" he chuckled, tilting her head. "Then.. I love you too..." I replied, a small smirk forming on my face. I wanted to giggle out of pure happiness, but I composed myself. My mind had a fuzzy feeling and I couldn't help but wrap y/n in a hug. She chuckled and returned the embrace.

After another hour of walking we came upon a cliff. Beyond the cliff was forest as far as the eye could see. The warm light bounced off the trees made everything seem like it would be alright.

"Do you wanna keep our exploration going..?" Y/n asked, holding my hand tightly. I chuckled and nodded, "Let's go Haywire"

And with those words, we set off for our next adventure.
