We walked to the hall I swayed slightly with every step, the residual exhaustion from last night's events still weighing heavy on my shoulders.

I tottered over to Wild and Thomas following Percy like a confused toddler, which, with how my mind was malfunctioning, could have been an accurate comparison.

I sat quietly letting my shoulders sag as conversation started buzzing at the table.

"Sooo." Wild drawled, elbowing Percy in the ribs lightly. "Two for the price of one I hear."
"Ey." Percy said, positively glowing in the light of being a new father.

"Twice the trouble, I'm telling you." Thomas piped up, which was odd given his proclivity for humble silence.

"Ey, there's truth to that, it's like they got their own language, one that they use to be the biggest inconvenience they can." Wild agreed. Boisterous laughter sounded at table, and slowly I felt the weight lessen, if only a little.
