Sophia was on her knees next to a knocked out Brooks. "Wake up! Wake up!" Sophia yelled, shaking her and crying.

"Sophia! What happened?" Daryl's voice called.

Sophia looked up, scanning the room for the source. "On the screen!" Rick's voice added.

Sophia looked back to Brooks before she stood up and noticed a small screen that had come on next to the keypad. A sob escaped her lips. "I don't know, she just went flying!"

"Baby, talk to me! What happened!" Carol ran towards where the web cam was. If Sophia knew she was on the big screen in the big room, she would've been very uncomfortable. She hates being the centre of attention.

"She- she was doing the thing to get more time. But- but then it just hit her back and now it's all black and crispy." Sophia let out a sob. "I don't know if she's-"

Sophia was cut off when a groan came from Brooks. She turned to the young girl, half afraid that she was going to be a walker. But, a sigh of relief left her lips when Brooks spoke. "My god, and I thought that damn belt hurt."

Sophia ran over, helping Brooks sit up. Her glasses were cracked, so Sophia pulled them from the girl's face. "Are you okay?"

Brooks blinked a few times, grabbing onto her throbbing chest. "That's probably not good."

Sophia helped pull Brooks to her feet. "Bambi, you good?" Merle asked from the screen.

Brooks' eyebrows furrowed as she limped over to the screen. "How much time did we get?"

"Twenty more minutes." Shane answered.

Brooks nodded, unaware of the black smoke that covered her face, and her hair that was now frizzy and all over the place. Nobody cared about her appearance though. "You saved us, kiddo." Cam smiled, proudly.

"Not yet, she hasn't." Chris denied. "You couldn't have pressed the button more times!"

"You best watch your damn mouth." Daryl threated, going towards him, but Rick shoved him back.

"We'll go out to the lobby, work on getting a way out." Brooks changed the subject, not looking at the tiny blob which was Chris.

"Be careful." Edwin quickly advised.

Sophia furrowed her eyebrows. "Why?"

"Isn't that just a thing people say?" Brooks questioned.

Sophia shook her head. "He wouldn't tell us to be careful, because we're all dead if we don't make the time limit. Why do we need to be careful?"

Edwin swallowed thickly. "You- you may have triggered a couple doors to open."

"Shit." Brooks realised.

Sophia turned to her. "Isn't that good?"

Brooks shook her head. "People were hanging themselves in the hallways."

Merle grabbed the doctor's shirt, and pinned him to the nearest high part on the nerdy computer tables. "What the hell did you do with the bodies?"

"Locked them all in a room. But... According to the alert I just got."

"Oh god." A fearful cry left Carol.

"Girls, haul ass!" Daryl shouted.

Brooks and Sophia didn't need any more encouragement as they ran out of the room. They headed to the stairs, but what they didn't realise... They'd past a door that hadn't been open before. The girls hit the stairs before they heard the groaning behind them. Curiously, they both turned and looked. Sophia shone the torch on the door. When they saw walkers start to leave the room, they both screamed in fear and inexperience. They didn't hesitate to start running again, and ran step after step, getting closer and closer to the top. They were nearly at the door, when Brooks fell down with a cry, grabbing onto her leg. "What is it?" Sophia ran back, squatting next to her, breathing deeply in fear and tiredness.
