"Surreee, Tango come sit."

"You are overreacting." He sits in front of the fireplace.

"Don't care."

Impulse and Zed sit on either side of Tango, the three relaxing against the wall.

"Zed? You ok?"

"Hm? Oh yeah, why?"

"You're spacing out, is there something on your mind?"

"It's nothing."

"Its something if its bothering you."

"I'm ok Impulse."

Tango rolls his eyes and makes the blonde lay down, petting his ears, "You don't have to tell us but we're here to listen."

The shorter relaxes, letting his eyes close, "Dad wants me to go with him to see my brother."

"You have a brother?"

"Yes," He rolls eyes, "He left when I was young."

"And you're not ready to see him again?"

"I'm mad at him, he abandoned me, walked back into my life, and now I'm expected to forgive him and act like nothing happened."

"Have they told you, you have to forgive him or is that what you think they're implying?"

"Does it matter? I'm not forgiving him either way."

"Why did he leave in the first place?"

"It doesn't matter." He sits up.

The other two share a look and nod.

"Zed, why don't we head back to your place and you can show us what you've been working on."

"Sure, are you warmed up Tango?"

"Yep! Come on lets go."

He pulls Zedaph up, leaving Impulse to put the fire out.

"Don't worry I got the fire!"

"Thanks Impy!"

He sighs and puts the flames out before going after the two. The three walk inside, Zed going up to his room.

"Hey Doc."

"Tango, Impulse, how are you two?"

"Good, how are you?"

"All done with teenagers."

"But you don't have any?"

"Really? Tell that to Zed."

"We'll deal with him."

"Goodluck."

The two go up to Zed's room, closing the door.

"What you got there Zed?"

"Nothing." He sets the picture down, "Why did we come here again?"

"You were going to show us what you've been working on."

"Right, its just a sketch right now."

"We still want to see."

He smiles and grabs his notebook, sitting in between the two.

"This is my next project, the lava base."

"You're building under lava?"

"Yep! It sounds like a bad idea but I've been preparing for it."

"Just promise to be careful?"

"I will Tango, don't worry."

Doc pops his head into the room, "Last chance, do you want to come?"

"No."

Doc sighs, "I'll be back later then, ok?"

"Yep, have fun with the traitor."

"Zedaph-"

"You better go, wouldn't want to keep little Sammy waiting."

"We'll talk about this when I get home." He disappears from view.

"That was a little harsh, don't you think?"

"Nope."

Impulse picks the picture from before up, "Is this him?"

"Yes." He glares daggers at the much younger Sam.

"He taught you redstone, didn't he?"

"...Yes." He takes the picture from Impulse, setting it on the desk.

"Its not your fault he left Zed."

"It doesn't matter he still...left.....me."

Tango pulls the shorter down onto his lap.

"You're going to have to forgive him eventually, you don't have to do it now but you will eventually."

"Tango's right, he's your brother Zed, yeah he messed up but he's changed."

"...He was supposed to be here."

"He still can be, if you left him."

The goat groans, leaning his head against the blaze hybrid.

"I hate when you're right."

"I quite enjoy it."

Zed relaxes, what would he do without these two?

He would forgive Sam eventually, but today was not that day. Today he wanted to sit with his friends and enjoy the company.
