Thing's haven't been great. Ivy is officially 6 months old and she's been been at home with me and Nat for 4 and a half months. I say with me and Nat but it's really been just me, Nat went back to work early and has been on a lot of missions. Wanda has stayed over the last few weeks so I don't feel so alone but I can't help but feel bad because she's 6 months pregnant and isn't helping Vision with their house.

- Wanda : I made dinner

- y/n : Thanks Wands

- Wanda : Let me take Ivy for the evening, you can eat and shower and relax and I'll do Ivy's night time routine

- y/n : It's fine, I'm okay, I've got her

- Wanda : Y/n, you're exhausted

- y/n : I can't leave her alone because what if she thinks both her parents have abandoned her?

- Wanda : She's not going to think that Y/n

- y/n : You can't bathe her, the baby makes it impossible for you to bend over that far. I promise I'll be okay

- Wanda : Hmm

Me and Wanda have been sleeping in the same bed so that we can switch off with Ivy since Nat isn't here half the time, it's more often than half the time but I'm not keeping count. I actually haven't seen her in a week. It pisses me off. She missed Ivy holding her head up and rolling over. She's now missing Ivy learning to sit up unsupported. Ivy's almost at a point where she can say Mama, she's been copying sounds and Ma is her favourite at the minute.

- y/n : How's the baby today?

- Wanda : Wriggling around a lot. I like that I'm getting practice with Ives

- y/n : It's fairly simple. A lot of things are fairly self explanatory

- Wanda : Except that breast pump Tony bought you

- y/n : You need three PhD's to work that thing

- Wanda : Woah, your daughter has just exploded on me

- y/n : She's your god-daughter. Pass her here. Hiya Ives, it's not nice to poop on people

- Wanda : That smells so bad

- y/n : Oh god. It's going to be a mess

- Wanda : Just wipe her down and then bathe her and get her into clean pyjamas and a clean diaper. I'll clean up out here while you do that

I'm trying and yet I get nothing back. Part of me can't help but wonder if Natasha even wanted to have a baby anymore. She's so distant and we've had three conversations in the last week and that's because I keep phoning her. Before Ivy she wouldn't stop texting and calling if she couldn't be with me.

- Wanda : Pass me the clean baby

- y/n : I don't know how but she's cuter when she's fresh out the bath

- Wanda : She's the cutest. The towel is my favourite

- y/n : It's the first thing me and Nat bought when we found out I was pregnant

- Wanda : Oh

- y/n : Mhm

- Wanda : Don't get upset

- y/n : Crap. Give me a minute, I'm going to put Ives to bed and then I'll be fine

I know I'm not alone but it feels like I am. All I want is for Natasha to come home and hug me, to look at me like she still loves me.

- Wanda : Let's get into bed, we can watch a movie and be near Ives

- y/n : When do I confront Nat? I've tried to sit down and have a conversation with her but she just leaves or doesn't listen. I need her to either be here and be present in Ivy's life or I'll take my daughter and leave

- Wanda : You can't leave

- y/n : Well I can't be around Nat if she doesn't want anything to do with Ivy, I'm so in love with her that I'd kick off every time she was within a 3 mile radius

I can do this with or within Nat, I'd just rather do it with her.

WANDA'S POV

It hurts to watch Y/n exhaust herself for Ivy being a single Mom because Natasha isn't around.

Y/n is already asleep and let's be honest, it's not a shock. I can fold some laundry and change the bin liner without Y/n insisting that she can do it on her own.

- Maria : Hey. Is she already asleep?

- Wanda : They both are

- Maria : I bought over some groceries

- Wanda : Thank you

- Maria : I'm not sure what size nappies Ivy is wearing now so I bought a few. I know she'll grow into them or you can use them when your baby comes

- Wanda : Thank you

- Maria : Is there anything I can do? She won't answer my texts and Nat won't answer the door at the compound

- Wanda : Y/n needs Natasha home. She's not doing great but won't let me help

- Maria : Mhm. I'll see what I can do. Thank you for looking after her

- Wanda : It keeps me occupied and Y/n needs someone

She needs Natasha but that doesn't mean I won't do everything I can to help her.
