YOUR POV

We have no car and none of us really have the energy to walk everywhere. We're stopping for something to eat and drink and so we can form a plan.

- y/n : Where's my beer?

- Natasha : You don't drink beer, you said it tastes like pee

- y/n : I've got an arm that feels like someone pressed a million cigarette butts against it. Anything would be better then water

I've had a cigarette butt against my skin before, it hurts like mother fucker, cheers for that life experience Dad.

- Yelena : That gas, the counter agent, it was synthesised in secret by an older widow from Melina's generation. I was on the mission to retrieve it and she exposed me and I killed the widow that freed me

- Natasha : Did you have a choice?

- Yelena : What you experienced what psychological conditioning. I'm talking about chemically altering brain functions. They're two completely different things. You're fully conscious but you don't know which part is you, I'm still not sure

- Natasha : Is that all there is left?

- Yelena : Mhm. It's the only thing that can stop Dreykov and his network of widows. He takes more everyday. Children who don't have anyone to protect them, just like us when we were small. Maybe 1 in 20 survives the training, becomes a widow. The rest, he kills. To him we are just things, weapons with no face that he can just throw away because there is always more

What are you supposed to say when someone tells you they've basically been help hostage and brainwashed their whole life, when they expose the truth behind their childhood?

- Yelena: And no one's even looking for him, thanks to you and Alexei

- Natasha : Alexei?

- Yelena : Dad

From what I've heard, Alexei doesn't deserve that title of Dad, neither does my father.

- Yelena : Did you ever look for your parents? Your real ones?

- Natasha : Well my Mom abandoned me in the street like garbage. What about you?

- Yelena : They destroyed my birth certificate so I reinvented it. My parents still live in Ohio, my sister moved out west

- Natasha : Is that right?

- Yelena : You're a science teacher. You're working part time, though, especially after you had your son. Your husband, he renovates houses

- Natasha : That is not my story

- Yelena : What is your story?

- Natasha : Obviously scrap out the whole teacher thing because I'm an Avenger. And no husband, maybe a wife one day but that depends on Y/n. I might retire one day, but it depends on what Y/n wants too

- y/n : I told you I might propose, don't count on it. I gave you the ring for your birthday

- Yelena : I knew it. I knew you were dating. My big sister, all grown up

- Natasha : Don't get cheesy on me now

I get how Yelena wouldn't have figured it out sooner, me and Nat have been arguing the whole time we've been around Yelena

- Yelena : Did you ever wish for kids?

- Natasha : Mhm

- y/n : We haven't really spoken about it a lot, I want kids if Nat does. I don't mind carrying as many kids as Nat wants although in my mind we'll have four, two girls and two boys. Tony, Bruce and a friend made it so if we want then we can have a child that is biologically related to us both

- Natasha : You've thought about it more then when we have spoken about it?

- y/n : Yeah. I want so many of your kids

- Yelena : Gross. I want a dog

The whole concept of kids is a touchy subject, as to be expected. Nat is still processing the fact she can never carry a child.

- Natasha : Where are you going go?

- Yelena : I don't know. I don't really have anywhere to go back to, so I guess anywhere

We could invite her back to the compound. She can have my old room, I'll move in with Nat full time while we wait for the present from Tony.

- Yelena : Don't

- Natasha : Don't what?

- Yelena : You're going to give me some big hero speech, I can feel it

- Natasha : Speeches aren't really my thing

- y/n : How the hell are you going to propose or cope at our wedding if you can't do speeches?

- Natasha : Oh crap. We'll be writing our own vows?

- y/n : I'm kidding my love

- Natasha : I was inviting Yelena to come with us to find the Red Room and kill Dreykov

- Yelena : Even though the Red Room is impossible to find and Dreykov is too slippery to kill?

- Natasha : Yeah

- Yelena : That sounds like a shitload of work

- y/n : I'm with you on that one

- Natasha : It could be fun though

Killing a psychopath and setting free hundreds of girls? Sounds like a plan, I'm in.

- Natasha : I saw where he put the keys

- Yelena : Top draw, green cabinet

- y/n : This is some very weird sister bonding, Maria would only take me to the shooting range. Let's go catch ourselves a fat man

- Natasha : Let me finish my beer first

- y/n : Are you able to drive?

- Natasha : On one beer? Yes. That night I drove us home from the nightclub I'd had a couple of shots to try and calm myself down

- Yelena : I call shotgun

- y/n : What? That's not fair

- Natasha : It is. Sorry detka, Yelena's in the front

- y/n : That's homophobic or some shit

- Natasha : It's definitely not. Eat your sandwich

- y/n : No

- Natasha : Eat the sandwich. You haven't eaten all day and I don't need you going into shock because you don't have the energy to process the injuries you've sustained

- Yelena : Such a Mom

- y/n : You can say that again

I know Natasha is just showing that she cares about me.
