I was in the locker room when Nathan came in with Austin and Sam behind him.

Peter came up behind me to look at him.

"Dude what the hell happened to you."

" shut the fuck up Kimble."

"Not my fault you tried to fuck my sister." 

Nathan punched Peter in the jaw. He knew better that that so Peter just took the hit and waited for coach to show up.

"Mr wheeler. I suggest you leave."

Nathan turned around to look at coach. Every one was wide eyed. Coach never asks anyone to leave he just benches them.

Next thing I know Nathan is being slammed in to the lockers and was being cuffed.

After he was gone Blake spoke up. 

"Who called the cops"

Coach looked at him. 

"I Did."

Sam, Austin, Blake, and Peter all looked at me." 

Be cause I have never played a game in my life without Nathan.

"Wes" coach called out.

A freshmen stood up.

"Yes sir"

"I want you to fill in for Nathan."

"But coach he's a freshmen."

"And Austin you were a freshmen to once."

I want him to play.

Everyone looked at me.

Peter spoke up first. 

"What. Did Nathan hit you in the head?"

No I said I want him in the game. He deserves a chance.

"You sure."

Yes I'm sure I think he should play.

"Ok if you say so James."

Hornet. I called to the team. 

They got into position. I was up behind Wes. I was happy he didn't say anything.

Hike

Nathan gave me the ball and I aired it out to Blake.

We ran the rest of the plays flawlessly just like that one.

I was standing next to my truck waiting for Peter and Sam. 

When Sam came up.

"Hey jay can I ask you something."

Yeah sure what's up. 

He walked right up I me so our faces were inches apart.

"Will you go to prom with me."

I barely got my answer out when he leaned down and kissed me.

Peter and Blake walked up.

"Woah woah PDA PDA." 

Peter started to shout.

Sam just smiled against my lips.
