Y/n's POV continuation of wanna play?

Today is the day.. im gonna see taylor. Fuck. I checked the day again just incase i was just dreaming, i wasnt.

RING RING

It was Hailee, so I picked up

"Hey hails"

"Hey, you on the way?" She asked

"Just getting into the car soon"

"Did you bring a date?"

"Yup."

"Oooooo.. okay, ill see you later then!"

"Yeah okay! Bye!" I said as i hung up

"Hey honey, you done?" I asked Adriana

"Almost.. did you bring everything? Are you wearing your coverup? Did you bring clothes?"

"Uh..yeah" i was just wearing my bikini and a pair of jean shorts, with the coverup in my hand, so I quickly put it on.

"Okay im done, lets go" she said as we walked to the car.

We get to the beach and when Adriana got out, i took a breath and looked around and started thinking to myself

"Why did i come in the first place. What if i see Taylor. I dont want to see her. Or do i?. I dont. Right?"

I jump out of my thoughts as i heard a knock on the car window. I looked out and Adriana was gesturing for me to get out, she opened the door for me and i stepped out

"Thanks honey" i plastered on a fake smile

"Of course" she smiled back

"Okay, so how do i look" i spun around for ber to see

"You look okay" she said dryly, barely even keeping her eyes on me. Adriana was like that, she seemed really nice but slowly she loses focus and ultimately loses interest, but i just needed to
get today over with. For Taylor. I mean Hailee.

We walk over to the beach together as we hear the crystal clear waves splashing against each rock. The sounds of laughter, music, happiness. Which wasnt what i was feeling. I was feeling kinda down, abit insecure because of Adriana's little comments here and there, chipping away at me, and Taylor. I miss her. No i dont.

"Y/n! You made it!!" I hear Hailee yell when she starts running towards me and giving me the biggest hug, pulling away and looking to my side

"Hey Hails! Adriana, Hailee. Hailee, Adriana"
I introduced them and they hugged as well, but i kept my eyes open, scanning the beach, looking for a certain, tall blonde.

"Come on! Lets go see the girls" Hailee says

Maybe Taylor's there.

"Yeah okay" I replied, Adriana following next to me, when we got to some tent like thing, i saw all of my friends, Cara, Gigi,Selena, blake and emma.

"Hi everyone!" I went around to hug everyone and greeting them.

"This is Adriana." I pointed

"Adriana, these are my friends" i smiled

They all exchanged their words and more hugs when i looked around the table and i saw a blonde girl, facing the other way, occupied with something else, she was giggling. I could recognize that laugh everywhere. The laugh that used to fill my days with nothing but pure happiness. Now it was just a reminder of hurt.

She turned around and we locked eyes. Her electric blue eyes, her gaze, her hair, everything about her is still, perfect. I could feel my heart break more and more the longer we kept looking, so i looked away.

"Hey guys lets go into the ocean!" Gigi said, interrupting me from my thoughts

You were okay with the idea, but Adriana didn't look that way.

"Do you not want to go in the water Adri? Its okay if you dont"

"No its not me" she said unsure

"Then what is it? You know you can tell me anything"

Everyone was already in the water, except for Taylor and Sel. Selena was talking to a waiter, but Taylor was listening in on your conversation with Adriana but you don't take notice

"Its just, are you sure you're comfortable with.. um not wearing your coverup or shorts? In front of your friends? Really?" Adriana asked you

"Oh. I haven't really thought about that." You looked down

"Yeah, maybe i wont swim. You should go have fun Adri." You gave her a fake smile

"You sure you wanna stay here alone?" Adriana said.

"Yeah its all good." You said, looking at her walk into the distance. She always made you feel like this. Feel bad about yourself. But you always brush it off as normal and that she was just looking out for you.

You sighed and took a seat at the big table across from Taylor, forgetting she was there because you were faced the other way, admiring all your friends in the water, except you.

You jumped when you felt someone tap on your shoulder. It was Selena, asking if you were okay

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked, concerned

"Yeah I'm good" you smiled

"Come on, lets go swim" she suggested

"No, i don't feel like swimming. You go ahead" you gestured towards the ocean

She nodded and gave you a pat on your head.
