the town of wall lies near a stone wall that borders the magical kingdom of sturmhold. one day, someone dared to cross it, and ended up having a child with someone from sturmhold. that is person a.
far in the future, person a is smitten with someone from the village. in order to gain their affection, person a ventures past the stone wall into sturmhold to retrieve the star that has fallen from the sky. they receive a babylon candle that will teleport them there, and they're off. however, when person a arrives, they do not find a rock like they expected. instead, lying in the crater, is person b. the fallen star. person a is still determined to deliver the star, so a journey begins. but much more perilous things await them on their journey.
