A Hadestown AU!
Person A is the shiftless child of a muse, working on a song to bring spring again. Person B is a poor runaway, no where to go and nothing to eat. They meet at Person A's workplace, a tavern, and fall in love.
While Person A works on their song, they get so wrapped up that they don't notice the storm forming, or the fact that Person B has left to find food. When Person B's efforts are fruitless, they make a deal with the King of the Underworld to no longer be hungry, selling their soul and basically dying by agreeing to work in the Underworld. When Person A finds out, they are determined to save Person B.
