Instead of the usual "Nightmare is a being of negativity, so he can't technically feel love, but *insert person here* tries to show him love or get Nightmare to love them" they respect the fact that he's Aromantic and doesn't experience romantic attraction. And instead of trying to "fix" him and try to get him to reciprocate the feeling, they respect the fact Nightmare doesn't like him back, and not by choice, not because he wants to hurt their feelings, but just because that's who he is and he doesn't have to change for anyone.
