THIRD PERSON POV

The room fell into a collective hush as everyone held their breath, a mix of nervousness and anticipation gripping the air. The CEO of their dream company was about to personally teach them – an unexpected and incredible opportunity. Yet, they knew they had to give it their all to thrive in this challenging class.

Jennie observed the expressions on her newfound students' faces, realizing that these were the individuals she had chosen to instruct after just two days of contemplation. Standing before 35 eager students, she couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed, her initial reaction caught between the nervous yet intrigued gazes of each student. She had taken over the class from Jinyoung, who had handed her the reins before leaving.

With a composed demeanor, Jennie walked over to the teacher's desk, placing the official list of students – a document handed to her by Jisoo – on the desk's surface.

"While some of you might already know me, I believe an introduction is in order. I am Jennie Rubby Jane Kim, recognized as the CEO of Infinite Structures. However, as your professor, you may simply refer to me as Professor Jennie Kim," she stated in a firm, cool voice, her gaze sweeping across the room. "During this semester, I will be guiding you through two essential 4-year Architectural subjects: Design Studio (ARCT-400) and Building Structures (ARCT-440). My expectations for this course are high, so I expect nothing but your best effort. Do not let me down."

Jennie's eyes scanned the room as she delivered her message, her stern expression not wavering. Yet, amidst the sea of faces, her attention was drawn to a pair of eyes at the back of the room. They were different from the rest – not nervous or afraid, but rather curious and perhaps even slightly amused. Jennie couldn't help but wonder if this particular student possessed an uncanny ability to peer into one's soul.

"Yes, Ma’am!" Jennie broke the gaze as her students echoed in unison. Clearing her throat, she refocused her attention on the task at hand.

"Very well. However, you can refer to me as Prof. Kim or Ms. Kim. Now, before we delve into the content of ARCT-440, let's begin by defining the school's Vision and Mission." Jennie noticed the confusion on her students' faces upon mentioning this connection.

As she scanned the room, she could practically hear the thoughts swirling among her students.

How could the school's Vision and Mission possibly relate to ARCT-440? Despite their confusion, Jennie pressed on.

"Can each of you recite KIU's Vision and Mission?" Jennie's gaze moved across the room, noting that some students avoided making eye contact – except for two students at the back who were both wearing glasses and seemed more attentive and unaffected.

"Since it appears no one is volunteering, allow me to select a name from the list… Ms. Im Nayeon, would you please share the school's Vision?" Jennie's voice remained cold and unyielding, causing a flicker of horror to cross Nayeon's face.

"Why does it always have to be me?" Nayeon mumbled, elbowing her seatmate for assistance. Her seatmate, however, lowered her head, avoiding involvement.

"No response, Ms. Im?" Jennie inquired, prompting a helpless nod from Nayeon.

"Very well, please stand up and remain standing," Jennie declared, causing a collective gulp to sweep through the room as everyone silently prayed that their name wouldn't be the next one called.

“Mr. Kang Daniel,” Daniel smile uncomfortably. “No answer?... Remain standing.”

“Kim Hanbin…”

“Jeon Somi…”

“Cha Eunwoo...”

Jennie continued to call out names, only to find that none of the students had an answer. It was a question they hadn't anticipated, as the school's Vision and Mission had faded from their memories since their freshman year.
