23 | run!!

In-hye, Ha-yan and I are standing infront of the school gate, impatiently waiting for Min-ju. And the second we see her, we rush as we drag her inside the school to ask her about the things that happened yesterday

"enough with the suspense, now tell us" I say and gulp down as I wait for her answer

In-hye and Ha-yan too looks at her with eyes full of curiousity, Min-ju then finally explains everything......

"he carried you on his back!?" Ha-yan gasps as soon as Min-ju finishes with her story, she nods shyly in yes

"that's so romantic" Ha-yan and I exclaim in awe at the same time

but In-hye hisses at us "what's so romantic about piggyback?" and we all of course glares at her

I then turn to Min-ju "so what's your current relationship with him huh?"

"idk just friends....." Min-ju replied with a slight bit of disappointment in her voice

"but do you take him as a friend?" I ask with a smile on my face, not a teasing smile but an actual warm one and she gets all shy at my question. the three of us smiles finding her reaction cute

"she takes him more than that and he takes her more than a friend, I can guarantee you that" Ha-yan states with confidence and Min-ju looks at her then finally lets out a soft smile.

In-hye then pops in as she asks Min-ju "did he text you after he left?"

Min-ju shakes her head in no "we haven't exchanged our numbers yet"

"what!! no way" I shout honestly surprised, and In-hye went all serious"should I give it, you want it?"

Ha-yan from the side nudges In-hye over at her elbow "hey leave that to them"

just then I coincidentally saw Jake standing near the main building, watching us from afar but his eyes seems to be directed to Min-ju only and when he noticed me looking over to him he shifts his gaze in flusteredness

I laugh at his reaction and turn to Min-ju "there he is, go talk with him"

Min-ju at once looks over to where Jake was and Jake who notices Min-ju looking at him bows his head as a way of greeting her

I gave a look at In-hye and Ha-yan, then grab Min-ju's hand and slowly walk towards Jake, In-hye and Ha-yan followed us from behind.

I greet Jake and his friends and they greet us back too, then I waste on time getting into action

"Min-ju said she wants to thank you for yesterday" I say, with Ha-yan adding on "by treating you to any snack of your choice, she said it", In-hye continues our unfinished word "right now, she said it"

"now go Min-ju" I say as I help her stand besides Jake, Min-ju looks at us then at Jake all flustered and Jake seemingly looks all confused too

"let's go we are late" In-hye gave the signal and Ha-yan and I followed her as we leave from there

"good luck Min-ju" was what I thinking on my mind and I'm pretty sure it was the same for In-hye and Ha-yan too.

sometimes later-

"I can't believe the sport's week is already coming to an end" I say as the 3 of us sit under our Banyan tree

Ha-yan sighs with so much disappointment in both her face and voice "I don't want it to end, this year's sports week is the most fun one I've ever attended"
