8 | Minju's feelings

today is the day after the weekend and it has been over 5 days since that incident, thank goodness they have now given up on wanting to know the reason behind my breakup

we are sitting inside our classroom causually talking about how our day went on the weekend

as we were laughing talking about silly things one of our boy classmate, Choi Si-nu approachs "Min-ju can I get your number please" he asks looking at Min-ju

these days Min-ju has been getting more and more popular because of her elegant look and quiet personality

but this is my very first time seeing someone hitting up on her, In-hye, Ha-yan and I look at each other slightly smiling, then look forward to Min-ju's reply

"um..well..um I'm sorry I have someone I like", what did I just hear? she has someone she likes!! the three of us gasp looking at her with our eyes all widened

even after what she said Si-nu showed no signs of leaving so In-hye turn to look at him "she said she has someone she likes, now go"

she was not being rude, we were just a bit rushed and impatient to talk with Min-ju

after Si-nu left Min-ju turn to look at us but she was startled to see the three of us already staring at her intensely, she was all silent and we wait for her to speak

we waited and waited but it seems like she was not planing on opening her mouth at all, so Ha-yan breaks the silence "hey why didn't we know you had someone you like"

In-hye and I nod quickly in agreement, Min-ju on the other hand seems to hesitate for a bit but she finally speaks "well I supposed you all might find it weird if I told you who I like"

we all look at each other obviously very confused to what she meant by those words, "why? who is he?" Ha-yan asks half confused and half curious

Min-ju was again quiet for a while "well um... it's not he but she"

ngl but I was honestly very surprised when she first said that and we all remained quiet for a while

i ponder trying to find the right word, then speak "it's ok Min-ju, people are different you can like whoever you want"

and of course i mean every word I'm saying, it's completely ok for people to like someone of the same sex, if i were a male i would still love Son

Ha-yan was quick to agree "yes! Yeona is right", In-hye pats on Min-ju's shoulder "we don't find you weird at all Min-ju"

Min-ju eyes at first looked as if she was full of doubts and embarassment, but when she made eye contact with each of us, she seems relieved and smiles as she nods

"so who is that lucky person you like" Ha-yan asks now leaning in a bit forward

Min-ju's cheeks goes red as she shyly replies "it's.....Bae Na-yeon".

the next moment In-hye gasps in all excitement "and how did you come to like her?"

we all wait for Min-ju's reply, "um....she helped me a lot the day I got transferred here and um... she was really kind to me so without me even realising I just feel for her" she explains

"omg! Min-ju it's my first time hearing you talk this long, I guess you like her a lot" I exclaim and was genuinely surprised by how excited she looked when she was talking about Na-yeon

"so you gonna confess?" Ha-yan asks what we all wanted to but i had a sudden urge to tease Ha-yan, and so i do it "Lee Ha-yan that question doesn't suit you at all, leave that to us"

In-hye nods as she adds on "yes, you should ask that question to yourself", Ha-yan of course went speechless as she side eyes us.

then our focus shift to Min-ju and she looks a bit unsure as she replies "um idk should I?", "you definitely should!!" In-hye shouts loudly.

I grab In-hye's hands and motion her to calm herself down a bit cause she was getting too excited, everyone was literally staring at is

I then look at Min-ju as I with all the seriousness in the world say "i would definitely confess to my Son if he studied at our school"

those words immediately made Ha-yan and In-hye sigh, they were looking at me in disbelief but Min-ju smiles as she says "well then I should definitely confess."

we all shout happily at her very reply

today is the d-day of the confession, these past 2 days we discussed about how Min-ju should confess, the atmosphere and what lines she should use while confessing etc.

we planned to make her confess when school ends today so when the final bell rang and it was time for In-hye, Ha-yan and I to get into action as Min-ju's wingmen

we asked Min-ju to go wait at the art room and that we will send Na-yeon there, she did so

with that the three of us went to Na-yeon's classroom to ask for some art supplies to use for painting the cheer cards for In-hye's upcoming match

she told us to take it ourselves from the art room but we insisted she should give to us herself as she is the president of the art club, and so she agreed, then asked us to follow her

our real acting then begins, we made up an excuse saying something urgent to attend to at the moment and promised to meet her infront of her classroom after 10 minutes

we then hurriedly leave the class and secretly watch as she makes her way inside the art room, we had to make sure she went it

"done!" I say as quitely as I can and the 3 of us leave from there to give them privacy

Min-ju's story :

she was looking around the room when she suddenly heard the door being opened, she smiles at the very sound, then let out a deep breath as she gets ready to speak

Na-yeon enters but she was not alone, she was accompanied by her friend Bae Yu-ra, they approaches Min-ju as soon as they enter the room as if they already know she would be there

"oh um.....hi!" Min-ju was of course a bit taken back but she greets them anyways

Yu-ra frowns as leans forward asking Min-ju "you have something to say to her?", "how did you know it?" Min-ju gasps in surprise

for a moment she thought whether if Ji-yeon and the others already told Na-yeon about it

"well had a guess" Yu-ra slightly grins, then on Min-ju knew now was not the right time to confess so she thought of leaving

but she stops when Na-yeon asks "what is it?", Min-ju looks at Na-yeon, then at Yu-ra before she says "let's talk another day"

she then turn to leave but Na-yeon grabs her hand stopping her "it's ok you can tell me now", Min-ju thought for a while and decides to tell it but Yura was still there so she felt a bit uncomfortable

"it's ok, Yu-ra is my bestfriend" Na-yeon says still holding onto Min-ju's hand, and Min-ju let out a deep breath as she speaks "um..I... like you Na-yeon".

as soon as she conveyed her feelings Yu-ra starts laughing hysterically but Na-yeon was all quiet, she slowly approach Min-ju and leans forward, whispering "so what?"

then drew her face away and laughs as she looks at Min-ju's expression
