another day - Jay just left as he got called by the teacher so today we had lunch without him.
day by day its getting more hotter, today is specially really hot so after having our lunch we decided to go to our usual place, the Banyan tree, as it's a lot cooler there
we walk out from the classroom, "please wait!" someone shouts from behind just as we walk past a classroom
the three of us at once turn to look who it was
"here! It's a thank you gift for helping me out earlier" Sunoo, the transfer boy says all panting, trying to catch his breath

he is holding a mango juice and was reaching out his hands to give it to In-hye, but she just kept staring at him and watches as he pants.
no way! out of all thing In-hye is allergic to mango, I quickly grab the bottle from his hands and give it to In-hye "come on just take it".
she takes it and bows her head a bit "thanks I will enjoy it", with her words Sunoo gives a big smile, nodding his head happily
Ha-yan then quickly puts her arms around In-hye's as she laughs "alright, let's go now" , the three of us then turn and walk away from there
I glance back at Sunoo and he was standing all alone at the hallway smiling brightly as he watches us from behind.
- we are almost there! I thought to myself but I stop walking when I saw Oh Min-ju, the transfer girl sitting right under the Banyan tree.
"oh seems like it's already taken" Ha-yan exclaims as she also notices Min-ju sitting there, we were about to turn around to leave we stop, and gasp in surprise
it was Min-ju who made us react that way, she had her right arm streched all the way up with her fingers spreaded wide, and she was looking at the sky from the gaps in between her fingers
that very side reminded us of someone who used to be real close with us, someone who we cherished and loved a lot; a friend we lost few years ago.
she used to do the same thing Min-ju is doing right now, so the three of us look at each other in surprise and I honestly was getting a bit teary but I hold my tears in
we collect ourselves and continue walking towards her, we stand infront of her and Min-ju quickly puts down her hand, then looks at us in confusion and flusteredness
she was quiet and we were quiet too, we all just stared at each other for a while
she finally blinks her eyes in confusion"um...you guys need anything??".
"nothing sorry! can we sit here too?" Ha-yan asks her politely and her voice was a bit shaky unlike herself.
"yes of course" Min-ju replies, then makes room for us to sit, we nod our head as we sit down next to her
"what's your name?" I ask her even though i knew her name, i just wanted to start a conversation
her eyes lits up and from the look on her face I could sense that she was feeling a bit nervous and awkward with us at the moment
so to ease the awkwardness i introduce myself first "I'm Yang Ji-yeon"
I then motion my hand to Ha-yan and In-hye as I continue "she is Lee Ha-yan and she is Choi In-hye, we are all from the same class"
"hi" Ha-yan greets in all smiles, In-hye too greets her "hi, ntmy"
Min-ju looks at us with puzzled yet bright eyes and kept silent for a while as she stare at us.
"I'm sorry....I..ntmy I'm Oh Min-ju"she finally introduces herself, I smiles as I speak "Min-ju, that's a pretty name".
"thank you" she lowers hee head and looks a bit shy, In-hye in the midst suddenly asks "you like mango juice?"
"yes I do, it's my favourite" she was smiling as she replies, and that smile of hers reminded me more of our friend.
and mango juice....it also used to be her favourite, In-hye lets out a deep breath and gives Min-ju the mango juice Sunoo gave "here you can have this"
"really? but why?" she looks half confused yet half happy
"well we drank a lot earlier and it's hot today so you can have it" Ha-yan was the one to reply
with that Min-ju smiles as she takes the juice from In-hye, then thank her for it "thank you very much"
"no need to be formal with us, we are of the same class" In-hye says looking at Min-ju, she nods her head
Ha-yan then clears her throat and peek over Min-ju "um.. Min-ju if it's ok with you can I ask you a question?"
"yes, sure" Min-ju replies at once, and so Ha-yan with all seriousness asks "just earlier...you were raising up your hand as you feel the sun, is that a habit of yours?"
Min-ju obviously looked a bit taken aback by Ha-yan's question and so I back her up "I know the question might be weird...we just wanted to know about it", In-hye nods along with us
Min-ju hesitates for a bit but finally gives a reply "uh...yes it's actually a habit of mine ever since I was a child, I feel calm whenever I do so"
"no way! you guys are way to similar" In-hye gasps after hearing Min-ju words and she is right....they are way too similar
"yes???" Min-ju queers in confusion, Ha-yan laughs as she tries to brush off her question "nothing, she was just saying anything"
"oh..." also laughs it off even though she obviously looks sp confused, the bell rang just then so we all get up in unison to return back to the class
we rush to the classroom as we were late but just as we were about to enter the room I call out Min-ju's name "Minju-ya, if it's ok with you, can we wait for you after the school ends today?"
she looks at me with confused eyes but nods her head anyways as she smiles "um, I would love that"
