Everyday seems to only get harder for Y/N. The weight of work is over barring and she never seems to catch a break. It's been weeks since she was able to go out and relax for an evening. Working from home was normally a blessing, but recently it's been nothing but a curse. She is haunted by a deadline and must work nonstop until it's done.

"Y/N?" Keishin called out from the other side of the apartment door. He hadn't seen his close friend in weeks, and the worry was starting to build. "Are you in there?"

Y/N cursed under her breath. Her flow of concentration was broken. The creativity stopped mid drawing. It would take a lot to recover from this.

Y/N sat up from her desk and walked to the apartment door. What Keishin saw when she opened the door shocked him. Her h/c hair was pulled back into a ponytail and her tired e/c eyes stared back at him with a miserable expression.

"Oh, Keishin." She brightened up a bit the moment she saw him. Out of all her friends, Y/N was glad that it was Keishin who showed up. It swelled a happy feeling inside her stomach. "Come in."

Keishin wondered inside the apartment and found it uncharacteristically messy. Y/N usually kept a neat home. She needed to for her job. A necessary part of her creative process. Besides, if the apartment was not kept in order, it became hard for Y/N to keep track of her art supplies. And those are the most important items in her home.

"Are you doing okay, Y/N? I haven't heard from you in a while." His words made her heart flutter. He was worried about her.

"I'm alright Keishin, maybe just a little over worked." Y/N smiled over at him. As much as she wanted to, she wasn't able to lie to Keishin. "I'm sorry that I haven't messaged you in a while. My final deadline is approaching and I still haven't made all of the final adjustments yet. Let alone the bonus content."

Keishin walked to her desk and looked over Y/N's current progress. "Oh yeah, you're getting ready to release the first physical copy of your work right?" Y/N nodded. "Your stuff is amazing Y/N. You'll get finished up in no time and the release is going to be amazing."

His encouraging words only caused the butterflies in Y/N's stomach to grow wilder. How could he be so oblivious to his affect on her? Was he oblivious to it?

"Thank you Keishin." He only smiled in return, brushing his hand up Y/N's arm. Without a word, Keishin took a step closer.

"You're so red Y/N." She gasped lightly, as Keishin cupped her face and brushed his thumb over her cheek. Keishin had never been this close before. No matter how Y/N tried to fight it, she couldn't hide the way he was affecting her. "Stop me." He whispered.

Keishin cupped her face with more force this time. Stroking his thumb lovingly over her jaw, slightly tilting her head to the side. Y/N remained still, staring up at Keishin in a daze. Her large doe eyes almost begging him to come closer.

Keishin pressed his lips against her own in a soft kiss. Relishing in the feeling of her soft lips pressed against his chapped ones. It was perfect.

Y/N's eyes fluttered closed and she leaned further in to the kiss. Ingraining every detail into her memory. It was a moment that she never wanted to end. But all too quickly, Keishin pulled back.

"I'm in love with you Y/N. I have been for a long time." He admitted. Keishin smiled softly at her, tenderly rubbing his thumb over her jaw line. The action making Y/N feel dizzy. This was all a dream come true.

"I love you too Keishin!"
