WEDNESDAY

"come on, just pick one" Kate groaned

"they look exactly the same"

She's been nudging me to pick between two of her swimsuits for like a good five minutes now

But the problem is, in my eyes they look exactly the same

However, Kate keeps claiming that one of them is a little lighter shade than the other one

I couldn't bear hearing her telling me to choose one any longer so I just pointed to the one in her left hand

"this one" I said

"are you 100% sure?"

"yes"

"good then it's settled" she said as she threw the swimsuit I didn't point to on the bed

Seriously, why does she always asks for my opinion when she always ends up picking the other option

She suddenly turned to me and gave me a confused look

"you're not gonna get ready?" she asked

Oh right, there's not much time left

"yeah, I'm on it" I said as I got up

I walked over to the wardrobe and began searching for that one swimsuit

For the past few days, I've been spacing out from time to time

The cause-Isaac's message

I haven't seen Nathan at all yesterday, all because of his 'appointment'

No matter how much I try to make up a new scenario the one that came to my mind first, always wins

Nathan's getting a tattoo

But there's no way he would actually tattoo what I wrote, right?

I mean that's something that's permanent, but then again, he never ceases to surprise me

I slightly shook my head, getting rid of all my thoughts

Don't flatter yourself Gia, he won't tattoo something just because you wrote it

I probably just read the message wrong

I let out a groan

I can't even gaslight myself without knowing that I'm probably right and he is getting a tattoo

"you okay?" Kate asked, causing me to turn around

"yeah, all good"

She seemed a little unconvinced but didn't ask anything else as she began packing everything in her bag

"should I take this as well?" she asked, waving a box in her hand

I recognised it right away, truth or drink

It's the same one we played when all four of us went to the beach together for the first time

I feel like if we play this game, it might take a completely different turn than it should

But I don't see a problem with that

"yeah, pack this too" I said

A grin formed on her lips as she cheerfully threw the box in her bag

I turned back to the wardrobe and finally found the swimsuit that I was looking for

I took it out of the wardrobe
