HIS POV

WEDNESDAY

I haven't seen Gia since friday

It's been almost a week

we were supposed to meet yesterday for an ice-skating lesson but she has an upcoming exam so she said she has to cancel this time

I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel even a little bit sad

It was weird, this feeling

I always only saw hockey and school, hell I don't even go to parties

I never got a chance to meet the right girl

I've had this fling a few years ago in high school but it was nothing more than that, just a fling

but that day when we finished our practice and my eyes landed on her it was like time stopped for a second

her beautiful lips formed in a smile as she was talking to one of my teammates, Isaac

her long light brown hair, tied up in a wavy ponytail

I found her completely mesmerising but I shook it off

I walked over to Isaac

"Isaac we need to go, the rink will soon be open for other visitors" I said

her eyes suddenly turned to my direction

Eye contact

and that was it, the moment her beautiful hazel eyes landed on mine I was done for

gosh, I could stare in her eyes for hours

I was taken aback a little when I noticed that she was glaring at me

at first I thought she was just a little grumpy like her friend said

but later on I learned that she's not very found of hockey guys

at least that's what Isaac told me and when that statement was confirmed by her on our first study session I only had one thought in my head

I need to change her mind

I need to show her that this ex of her was just an asshole who happened to play hockey

so here I am, waiting for her outside her campus to walk with her to the library

I despite studying

but lately it became a little bit more tolerable because of her

my thoughts went silent when I saw her walked out the door

she wore black mom jeans, and a grey sweater that she had on our ice-skating lesson too

she must like it a lot

her hair were down, her pretty waves lightening as they came in contact with the sun

"hey, I hope you didn't wait too long" she said
