"Oh its fine, your place is really cozy" Dean said.
"Sapphire and I makes the most out of what we have"
Josh's mom smiled softly.
"I can see where Sapphire got her talents" Dean said.
"Not from someone irresponsible" his dad said.
I bit my lower lip.
"They know" Josh said.
"Ah" my mom said.
"I'm sorry about her father, I wish he'd be more responible but I guess people won't be people without their flaws" Senator said.
My mom nodded, Jenna and Jonathan enjoyed their time in our house, Josh was just around me wherever I was.
"Look at your son being all over his girlfriend" his mom noticed us.
My cheeks heated up.
"He's just enjoying his time, hon"
They were comfortable in our house, they only left when Jonathan was already drained.
"Thank you for welcoming us warmly, we hope to see you in our house, too, how about New Year's Eve dinner?" Josh's mom asked.
"Of course, we'd love to"
"That's great, I'll have Josh picked you both up, thank you so much, Sancha, Sapphire, Merry Christmas" Dean said.
"Merry Christmas, Sapphire, Sancha, it was nice meeting you both" Senator said.

His parents and siblings went off first, Josh said he'll stay for a while to help me and mom.

I told mom that we can handle the things so she could rest, she didn't protest and kissed our cheeks before heading upstairs.
"Your condo is far from here, shouldn't you start driving by now?"

"Those were just a few days and we talked every free time"

"Our families know each other now, and they get along well" he said.
I nodded at that.
"It will be easier for our families to get closer with each ither once we decide to marry" he said.
"Josh, its too early for all of that"
"I know, I'm just telling you my initial plans for us"
He's so sure of me that I'll be his endgame.
"You can sleep in the guestroom, I know you're tired already, from how you hug me"
"Will that be okay to your mom?"
"Isn't she the one who suggested it to you before she went to her room?"
