Tone becoming low and threatening she gave him a head rub before walking off before stopping beside Gano "Never seen you before, take it you're on of their new friends?" Gano gulped "Ah, more a friend of Douglas, but guess that could be said" he sported a sheepish grin "Strange hair and eye color you have, it's very unique" This caused Gano to break a sweat.
"Oh? Well, I'm into those crazy rock bands, just contact and dye" eyes narrowing, Mr. Brielle giggled putting a hand over her mouth "Kids these days sure are crazy!" and just like that her disposition changed from cloudy to sunny "Was worried about Douglas once his partner and crime was expelled, it's good to see he's back on good terms with Brook and Tess, I guess whoever you are, you must be good luck!"
Sticking out a hand, Gano looked down "Nice to meet you" Gano stuck out his as Mr. Brielle gave it a shake "What's your name?" Gano blurted out the only thing that came to mind "My name's Gon" Mr. Brielle gave him a curious look "Gon?" Gano chuckled "Yep, like he's a goner!" he took a swing at the air as he attempted to joke "Strange, well Gon, do me a favor.....take care of them okay" giving him a knowing look, Ms. Brielle left them standing in place.
"Brook? What do we do now?" Gano asked, Brook seemed to have turned into a mannequin "Brook" Gano reached out to touch Brook, he whipped around and smacked Gano's hand away "Brook?" Gano took a step back "Not now Gano...I swear.." Brook clenched and unclenched his hands shaking his head "I'm trying so hard to not be angry at you right now."
At that moment Douglas caught up to them "Then don't" Mayuri's voice could be heard behind them "Been here awhile, why make yourself known?" Douglas asked "Can't stand Akurasa messing with you brats to be honest...that's my job" she had cleaned herself up since they last saw her, rocking a white sundress with a yellow sashay around her waist, it was decorated with yellow roses, only thing that stood out were her black boots and shades.
"Guess it its" Douglas took a handkerchief out to clean his glasses "Akurasa wants Gano dead, but I don't think he's going to have that kill Tess...I don't think he can.." Gano could fell Mayuri's eyeballs on him even behind lens "Gano, what do you say?" Gano looked down, bangs hiding his face "Can't say, we need to find her soon, the fact she was taken away means he wants us to gave chase...we have no choice.."
Brook slammed his fist into his palm "Fine then! Let's get going then!! You three are supposed to be unstoppable together right? Let's busts some heads!" Mayuri took of her shades revealing bags under her eyes and ruined mascara "Speaking my language kid, but I've got other plans, I'm just here to throw a few crumbs so you can follow their trail."
Douglas gave Mayuri a puzzled look "I really don't get how it makes sense not to work together?" Mayuri snickered "Oh Dougie, that's cute of you, we may be on the same side, but don't go thinking we're a team" Mayuri walked over and whispered into his ear "More than anything do you know what I want?"
Douglas could read Mayuri's mind clear as day "Mayuri that's not smart" Douglas frowned "True, my heart doesn't care for smart right now thought, I'm going for the head of the snake, I don't have time for tails." Mayuri looked Gano up and down "Whatever's weighing on you, is supposed you'll have to shake later-I forget you're a brat as well" Gano looked up, unsure how to respond "Vencia's a city over, either you'll find him there or whatever else you need to find..."
Mayuri gave Gano a knowing look before disappearing from Brook's and Douglas' sight "Douglas, try to go out there and die" Having said her piece, Mayuri walked over to her car and take off into the busy New Arcadia streets "Awh man! Hate when she does that!!" Brook whined and complained "Douglas did Mayuri take off?" he asked.
Douglas sighed "Brook, best we do as she says, been hovering since this morning, I didn't want to say anything" Brook grabbed his keys "Let's walk around and get ready to go. Vencia right?" he double-checked looking to Douglas for confirmation "Yeah" he answered "Aight. Gano!!" he pulled out his sleeve "You owe me one dawg!! C'mon!"
