Musera found a flower and was picking petals off of it as she spoke "Involving us, manipulating us like chess pieces in some sort of sick and twisted game? Expect that from that white-haired bastard Akurasa not you" Musera's words stabbed Gano in the heart as he clutched his chest "Muse-" Standing up while staring down, she wouldn't be interrupted "No!"

Musera yelled "It's time you hear it from me now!! It's clear as day Gano!! We're not your friends!! Maybe we never were!! We laughed together! Cried together!! Kept each other warm from being swallowed by that horrible facilities cold!! All our eyes remained on that green spark of lighting that gave light to our life and filled us with hope! We mean nothing to you Gano!! Nothing!!! Just meatshields to protect HER!"

Gano stood up himself eyes glowing green "Watch it Muse.." his tone was low "Or what!" they turned to face one another "You don't know what I know!!" he yelled "We know more than you think, why else haven't we followed Akurasa's orders and dragged you in?" Musera's eyes glowed purple "Cause you can't!" Gano retorted "IF THAT'S TRUE YOU WOULDN'T OF LEFT US BEHIND!!" Musera screamed.

"I DIDN'T!" veins in Gano's neck started throbbing and showing  "YOU ABANDONED US!" Musera's grit her teeth voice carried and reverberated "I DIDN'T!!" Gano responed "YOU ABANDONED HER!!" "NO!!" Sparks flew from his body as his anger grew "YOU ABANDONED ME!!" Everything went silent, Gano tried to call out to Musera to no avail as she broke down in tears.

A sobbing mess on hands and knees, Gan did the only thing he knew how to do, using his powers he lifted Musera up and brought her closer to him, wrapping her up in a tight and embrace in hopes his actions would speak much louder than his words that wouldn't reach. Kicking, screaming, tiny fists beating against his back, Musera's form relaxed as she let go and cried into his chest.

"Muse...I'm..so sorry..." Gano started crying as well "I did would I thought I had to...I'm not even sure it was the right thing....I got scared of who else I could lose...my bad for screwing everything up."

"Is she there?" Akurasa's associate asked as he took notice of Mayuri snooping around, he'd hidden cameras in several spots knowing she'd snoop on information on their current hostages whereabouts "Just as expected" Akurasa smirked "Now it's time for you to do your trick..residents still home?" he inquired.

"Yes" a wide grin made its way onto his associate's face "Hm.." he started snapping his fingers as they exited the building "What's that word I'm looking for-" meanwhile inside Mayuri was checking every crack, crevice, and cabinet "No...no....no..." she mumbled flipping through pages and looking for files.

"Bingo!" having hit the jackpot, Mayuri jaw dropped "That's what the bastard's planning!! Taking Tess and her friend's just the tip of the iceberg!! If he pull this off-" faint beeping could be heard coming from opposite side of Akurasa's apartment "Dammit I should've known" Mayuri made for the window only to find it'd been sealed shut "Son of a bi-"

"BOOM!" Akurasa's associated cackled "Wooooooooo Wee! Ding Dong!! Witch is dead!" he used his belly as a drum "That's who we were worried about?!" Akurasa took of his hat "Seems sentimentality makes one soft-trust me she was a formidable warrior when we met."

His associate studied Akurasa's face "You seem...sad..." Akurasa's mouth formed a thin line "Perhaps I am, even in a game of chess, a king doesn't cry over losing pawns, but still something is pulling at my heart strings even now..." he mused aloud "Maybe she was more..." his associated turned the wheel as chaos and panic ensued.

Smoke rose up as Akurasa's fifth floor apartment and both apartments on each side went up in a burst of flames, horns blaring, emergency vehicles were starting to arrive on scene just as they were taking to the streets "Camera went out" his associate started to hum "We don't really know if she died" Akurasa cracked a hint of a smile "Either way it's fate" his associate chuckled
