A Never Ending Chapter

Reunited.

'Hey baby.' Cindy comes up and hugs me.

'Hey oh my gosh you look fab.' I chuckle and hug Cindy.

'You look fab. Stop it.' Cindy chuckles.

'Oh my gosh. You. Look. Amazing.' Anna chuckles and hugs me.

'You look brilliant. Wow.' I admire Anna.

'Come on. I've been dying to get a drink.' Anna grabs my hand and leads me towards a little bar that was positioned on the left.

'Oh my gosh. Okay.' I chuckle and walk after Anna.

As soon as we reached the bar section, Anna nicely ordered us some martinis. And oh my gosh. They were amazing.

'Mmmm. Oh I love alcohol.' I chuckle after taking a sip of my martini.

'Girl same.' Anna chuckles.

After a couple seconds, I see Anna's eyes widen, when she notices something behind me.

'What?' I try to turn my head, but I'm blocked by Anna's hand.

'Don't. Look.' Anna mumbles.

'What? What is it?' I whisper.

'Uh oh. Ex incoming.' Anna smiles.

'Oh...' I give an approving nod.

As soon as Kylian approached us, Anna found some lame excuse to go elsewhere. Leaving me with the one and only, Kylian Mbappe.

'A shot please.' Kylian smiles at the bartender.

I ignore him and continue taking sips of my Martini.

'Can you make that two please?' Kylian calls the bartender over.

'Of course.' the bartender smiles.

The bartender approaches us and hands Kylian the two shots.

Kylian slides the shot in my direction.

'Haha.' I let out a fake chuckle and look down.

I chug the shot and place the shot glass in front of Kylian.

'You doing okay?' Kylian moves his chair closer to me.

'Mhm. Fine.' I smile. 'You?'

'Yeah. Fine. Do you... um want another drink?' Kylian asks.

'Nah. Thanks. I'm fine.' I shake my head.

After a couple moments of silence, Kylian finally speaks.

'So um... you staying for long?' Kylian asks.

'Yeah. I was thinking of moving here.' I nod.

'Oh really? How comes?' Kylian smirks.

'Just feel like it.' I answer, not making eye contact.

'Mmm.' Kylian nods.

I nod.

'Where um... whereabouts?' Kylian asks.

'I don't know. Where I can find a house.' I take another sip of my drink.

'Oh. Um, well, where are you staying now?' Kylian asks.

'Hotel.' I answer.

'Oh. I see. So you're not gonna go back?' Kylian asks.

'Nope.' I nod once again.

'I see I see.' Kylian nods, clearly getting the hint that I'm not in the mood for this questionnaire.

'Well um thanks for the shot.' I get up and head towards Anna which was already looking my direction.

'Yeah yeah. Welcome.' Kylian smiles while acknowledging me.

'What is going through your head are you crazy?' Anna grabs me and heads towards the toilet.

'What are you talking about?' I ask confused.

'What... what are you trying to do?' Anna asks.

'I don't get what you're saying.'

'Why on earth is he talking to you?' Anna looks at me with a confused look on her face.

'I don't know, Anna. Maybe because we're adults. Just leave him.' I look at Anna.

'What has he said to you?' Anna asks.

'He just asked me where I'm staying. Literally just that.' I chuckle.

'Hm okay.' Anna laughs. 'You guys are a nightmare.'

'Yeah.' I look down.

The night had come to an end and I decided to head back to my room with Anna. And we just spoke about our night, and how she thinks that me and Kylian have unfinished business, but that chapter is over. And all we can really do is be friends. But she will never understand that.
