Ruikasa: And They Were Roommates

Chapter 16 ⭐️

Rui's POV:

"Kasa, wake up" I whispered as I shook the other awake

The blonde groaned in response and shoved his face in the pillow.

"Tsukasa, I'm gonna leave you here if you don't get up" I said, and the other boy turned to face me, eyes still closed

"Where are you going?" He asked, rubbing some drool off his chin

"Tessa's, remember?" I reminded as the other boy sat up and stretched

"Oh yeah" he said, placing his hands at his side. One of his hands fell over mine and my face felt warmer, although he didn't seem to notice it.

"C'mon, let's go" I hummed, grabbing his hand and pulling him up

We put on our shoes and grabbed the room key, Tsukasa lazily running his fingers through his tangled hair as we walked out the door. I locked it and we headed for the elevator.

Before long we were wandering the hall of the second floor, looking for room 237. It didn't take too long to find it, and I knocked on the door.

A frantic scurrying could be heard on the other side before it swung open. Tessa stood in the doorway, her face lighting up

"Rui! Tsukasa! Hi" she greeted, opening the door wider to invite us in

"Hey Tessa, sorry we never came up with when to hang out, I just figured now would be alright?" I smiled

"Oh yeah that's fine" she smiled "sorry this place is a mess though, I didn't expect you over so soon"

"Oh don't worry about it" Tsukasa dismissed as he walked in

It wasn't really a mess. At all. The blankets were all folded, books organized, shelves dusted. The only thing that didn't seem all the way clean was the carpets, which lacked vacuum lines, but even then they were still mostly dirt free. Who knows though, maybe the small bits of loose floor fuzz were bothersome to some people.

"Would you two like some tea? I've got chamomile, green, and ginger" Tessa offered as she walked to the electric kettle on her desk (as there was really no kitchen).

"Chamomile, if that's alright" I smiled

"Um, I'll pass but thanks" Tsukasa hummed and the brunette nodded

"Alright" she clicked on the water and grabbed to tea packets, honey and sugar from the cabinets. She then moved to her mini fridge and grabbed a small carton of milk, setting it on the table before sitting down on the couch next to Kasa and I.

"How was your day?" She asked, adjusting her glasses

"Alright, thank you, it wasn't much, the most exciting thing was our walk, other than that this princess just slept all day" I teased, pointing to the flustered blonde beside me

"I- don't call me that you ass" he frowned, smacking the back of my head lightly and I laughed

"You two seem close," Tessa commented "how'd you meet? If you do not mind me asking, that is"

"You wanna tell the story" I asked and Kasa nodded

"We met at the Phoenix Wonderlands mini stage, our friend introduced us. We put on mini shows for a while, but we got into an argument later on. We were distant for a while but I think it brought us closer in the end. Since then we've been doing shows and projects for what? The past 2 or 3 years I think?" He explained

"Oh wow, so you guys must be around each other a lot, no?" She smiled

"Yeah, it's not often you find us apart, we're like a package deal at this point" I nodded, my pinky unconsciously moving to rest atop Tsukasa's, which I didn't notice til he glanced at me, but still, I left it there just to mess with him.
