I get up and get dressed. We walk out and Dad + Uncle Tevin are at Lions Door.

Me: what !! He can’t be back…
Zito: that can’t happen, he like coming when we don’t wanna see him.

Dad open the door and the Huge Tritan jumps out.

Steven: (speaks italian)

I look at Zito who is looking at the floor. I stare at it as my heart starts beating really fast

Ma: ahh… Wandi, let’s take her to her room.

I look at Zito and she looks at me

Zito: (yells) Get the bags idiot…

Serino taps my back.

Serino: Hurry Nigga.

I snap out of this sudden fear in me and run to our room and grab the bags. Mom and Tevin get busy with her whilst I handle Tritan who was such a pain.

20 MINUTES LATER

Mpumi’s Door opens and she walks out.

She comes to me and hugs me.

Steven: (clears throat)

We look at him.

We all laugh at him

We all stop laughing and look at Tritan...

It was uncle Tevin and Mom.

Ma: whats going on ?

Steven: Tritan just called out to Mpumi. How does he know her.

I look at Tritan and we lock eyes.

I could hear him but couldn’t move my body. Someone covers my eyes and turns me around. I look and its Ma.

Ma: (whispers) I know you’re busy with him. Last time he turned into Tristan was when he couldn’t find his soulmate and Tritan warned us that if he doesn’t find her, he will disappear. He hasn’t appeared in 5 years, now he is back.

I look at ma.

She sheds a tear and hugs me. She breaks it and looks at me.

Ma: Please don’t give up on him. Tritan is shit. He’s a mean ass Beast, even worse than his brothers. Steven’s beast is Kind, Quintons beast is the Naughty but this one… Tritan is Mean.
Me: (shakes head) I don’t know… why do I feel like I’m making a big mistake. I shouldn’t have fallen back in love with him…

She hugs me.

Ma: please don’t…
Me: (sighs)

DOOR OPENS

Juxe: Teo is the cutest baby ever… (squeals) its giving baby fever…

Ma: Nobody is supposed to see Tritan before he connects with his owners soulmate, Zithulele is also asleep now.
