"Doctor Cha" I heard Miss Jeon say as she entered the room "Feel free to go back home"
"Yes thank you" I said, pulling out the USB from the laptop that had the report in. I packed up my bag and left Haru's room. I dropped by Doctor Park's office which was empty but I left the USB in the first drawer of his desk. Then I made my way towards the main exit of the hospital.
I exited the hospital, what I was expecting for the cold hair to surround me instead I was swarmed by a crowd of warm figures charging towards me blinding my sight with constant flashing of white light. At first it didn't hit me what was going on until the questions were thrown out one after the other
"Doctor Cha, what was the reason you disappeared from the City hospital?"
"Is it true the town hospital has failed many patients?"
"Is it true the town hospital will shut down?"
"Is it true you operate on patients without their or their guardian's consent?"
What the hell is going on?!
I looked in front of me and there was a barrier of bodies of the reporter, I looked at my right same thing, and on my left was the same case.
There was no way out
My vision started to blur and my lungs were losing air. I need to leave before I black out. Felt my heart beat hard against my chest. I lowered my head and turned around before rushing back into the hospital.
I don't understand. The Town Hospital will shut down?
That doesn't make sense. From the years that I have been here never once we had a rumour as such because people already believe that this hospital is already shut down.
"Doctor Cha?" I saw Doctor Choi Beomgyu exit the ER and looked at me as a frown pulled on his face in worry "Is everything okay?"
"Why are there reporters outside of the hospital?" I asked trying to catch my breath
"Reporters?" He asked
"And... and why are they asking about the town hospital being shut down? Do you know anything about this?" I asked
"I don't know if we are maybe talking about the same thing because Eunha just texted me saying to rush to the staff room saying there was something on the news" Beomgyu said and we started walking towards the staff room.
"Its weird to suddenly have the public interest in the hospital, usually we are the ones that get swept under the rug" I said
"What exactly happened?" Beomgyu asked
"I wanted to go home when I was swarmed by a bunch of reporters outside the hospital main entrance. They were throwing questions at me, something about the hospital being shut down was one of them" I explained. Beomgyu opened the door to the staff room revealing Doctor Park, Doctor Min Eunha, Doctor Kai, Doctor Jeon Junghae, Doctor Kang Taehyun and Miss Kim Dal Hee. they all sat on the couch and their eyes was all focused on the Tv
"You guys need to see this" Doctor Junghae said pointing at the Tv
"What is going-" I stopped as I felt my blood ran cold at the sight in front of me. On the Tv it was the executives of the City Hospital holding a press conference as he wore his white coat and spoke into the microphone on the podium
"In a meeting held by the executives of the city hospital, there was evidence showing medical misconduct of the staff in the town hospital. That included performing surgery without guardian's consent, performing surgeries in unhygienic areas, allowing doctors with terminated licences to perform surgery. Those are a few examples that I will expose, but it is strong enough for us to move forward to shut down the Town hospital."
Here is the thing if it was any other executive on the stand I would feel angry but it was Yeonjun

"We will be working with the City Police Department to conduct a private investigation and hold the people accountable, including nurses and doctors, for the medical misconduct and going against their oath that they swore when they decided to become medical workers. Once the people responsible for it are confirmed they will be punished severely."

I felt my phone ring. I looked down to see it was my dad calling. I exited the staff room and stood in the hallway before I picked up the phone
"Hey dad" I answered
"Hey Ah Rang. Ummm... not sure how to tell you... this but there are police officers at the door asking for you"
