"Didn't expect you to be this petty" Miss Choi, Yeonjun's mom said as bitterness filled her voice. I immediately stopped in my tracks almost having her slam into me and I turned around facing her
"Isn't it nice to see you too Miss Choi, after how many years? Four. How are you?" I replied my tone filled with sarcasm but from the inside I can feel my blood to start to warm up.
"Wasn't the money I gave you enough?" She said ignoring my statement, I immediately felt the fire blast in my body but I pushed it down.
"Don't worry it was enough to pay of my student debt" I lied, because when I went to actually pay for it the women at the desk gave me a confused look as she told me it was already payed for. till this day my guess would be my dad when he came back from Germany.
"But not enough to leave him alone apparently" she said glaring at me still not satisfied on how I disappeared out of her son's life for four years. I tilted my head not seeing where she is trying to go with this
"I didn't show up at your doorsteps for four years now. Isn't that what you wanted? I never even told him about what truly happened. So yeah I kept my deal on my end as long as I'm concerned" I said
"Don't act stupid, you lied to him making him believe that you are still his fiance" she said rolling her eyes, before I can even stop it my jaw dropped open. she is accusing me for making him believe we are still together?!

I opened my mouth ready to explain everything and plea that I am innocent that Yeonjun woke up and just started acting like we never broken up. like are still fucking together which hurts even more. but I knew she wouldn't believe me.
"Did you talk to Doctor Min? she didn't explain what is going on?" I asked
"Obviously I did. but you are here and saw the opportunity to take advantage of his memory loss and trying to get back with him" she said harshly like she was disgusted about a situation that I didn't even cause
"Excuse me?!" I gasped as disbelief filled me. "Me?!"
"Drop the act. All these years he has resented you for dumping him and now out of the blue he is calling you his fiancé. You want me to believe you had nothing to do with that?" She said as a deep frown pulled on her face and her face became red
"Last thing he remembers is the Christmas party where we announced our engagement. He is four years behind, that's why he still thinks I'm his fiance so-" I explained but she cut me off
"I don't care if he is four or a hundred years behind but I don't want him to be calling you his fiancé or even believe such a thing." she said it as if it is the most disgusting thing she could ever say "I will fix up this mess that you created and I better not see you near him. I don't want to my son to marry a fucking gold digger" she said. That's when I felt my blood rush in pure hot fire throughout my body. I have had enough. she could accuse me for all shit even if it's not true but for her to accuse me of taking advantage of Yeonjun?!
