"Why? What happened?" he asked "what went wrong?"

"Yeonjun, let's talk about this later," I said, attempting to withdraw my hand from his tight grip, but he held on firmly, causing me pain. His eyes held a mixture of fear, sadness, and rage, sending a chill down my spine.

"Don't be mad, you just need to rest longer," I murmured, barely audible even to myself amidst the tension. I could feel the weight of his gaze, like a heavy burden pressing down on me, freezing me in place. The atmosphere around us grew tense, fraught with unspoken words and unresolved emotions, as we stood locked in a silent struggle.

"You are telling me we aren't together and you want me not to be mad?" he said as he gritted his teeth making the muscles in his jaw flex. I swallowed trying to calm myself down as I felt my nerves shake under his glare. The monitor beeping started picking up in a slight warning indicating the blood pressure is rising. if his blood pressure continues to rise up it can make his injury even worst

"Tell me why did you leave me" he demanded, assertive to know the truth. I knew Yeonjun as soon as he puts his mind on something he will become stubborn and will do anything to get what he wants.

"Yeonjun," I said, trying to think of something that would end this conversation short. But knowing Yeonjun, he will not drop the subject. Especially if it is a problem in our relationship. "Things weren't going as planned and I had to leave" I said as vaguely as possible. Yeonjun let out a breath of frustration and he released his grip from my hand

Before I could have the chance to reach, Yeonjun ripped out his IV needle from his fore arm causing the blood to gush out from the torn vein. The smell of the metallic blood started to linger in the air of the room. Panic surged within me as I watched the crimson stream, staining the pristine white sheets.

"Yeonjun," I gasped reaching out and pressing my palm against his open wound, trying to stop the blood. but I felt few gush out of the torn vein and escape from underneath my palm. but Yeonjun didn't care as his eyes seemed to be unfazed and determine. he pushed my hand away and proceeded to remove the wires attached to his chest but before he had the chance to do that I pressed my hand against it preventing him from taking the wires off

"Stop what the hell are you doing?" I said freaking out as I watched more blood seep out of his forearm. I removed one of my hands from his chest and placed it back on his wound

"Stop?! Yesterday we were announcing to everyone that we are finally getting married and now you tell me we are no longer together. You expect me to still be sane?" he asked as his voice cracked with anger and furry blasted in his eyes. the monitor was beeping constantly revealing how hard and intense Yeonjun's heart was beating.

it's like the world came crashing down on him. for the second time

"That was four years ago" I said with my voice trembling in desperation trying to get him to understand the truth. why is this so hard? why is it happening again?
