When Abigail woke up the next morning, it was oddly peaceful. There was no shouting, no hits to the face with a pillow, no alarms, and better yet...no Johnathan. She couldn't help but to think about the painfully quiet ride back to the dorm.

And when they arrived back to the dorm it was even more awkward. Abigail was the first to leave and Johnathan took a few minutes before he joined. And they both left it there. Now, she's sitting in class thinking about what occurred the night before.

Not to mention how late she was again. An hour late to be exact. Seems like Johnathan didn't want to bother her. It made her feel a certain way of course but...she can't blame him if he doesn't want to be near her after last night.

Abigail sighed, staring at Jefferson as he paced back and forth. She couldn't process what it was he was talking about since she toned out his words the moment she came to class.

She just couldn't get Johnathan out of her mind no matter how much she tried. And the kiss they shared last night. She closed her eyes, taking in a sharp breath.

The way he stared at her lips eagerly, like he'd been waiting forever to kiss her. His body scent that pulled her closer to him like she was following the alluring smell of cherry pie that's stationed by a kitchen window on a hot summer day. Then...his tongue.

So sweet, so warm, and absolutely breath taking.

Abby shook the thought away and wiped her mouth as if the kiss was still lingering onto her lips. Why would she allow herself to get mixed up with Johnathan, the school's man whore? But then again...she didn't hate it.

"Fuck me." She groans aloud.

"Excuse me?"

Abigail gazed at the person in front of her, finally being pulled completely from her thoughts. It's Jefferson. Abigial noticed the faint smile on the man's features and glanced around the room. Realizing that it's empty she cussed.

"I-I'm so sorry I didn't know I was talking aloud." She quickly apologizes. Jefferson chuckled and strode back to his desk. Abigail closed her notebook and began to gather her things.

"This is the second time you've arrived late to my class." He speaks. Abigail pushed hair behind her ear and chuckled dryly.

"My alarm kind of...stopped working."

"It's also the second time you've toned out my teaching."

Abigail shot him a glance, her eyes landing on his. Jefferson took a sip of his coffee as he kept her stare on his. Abigail watched him set the cup down, his dimple showing as he pursed his lips together.

"Um...sorry about that. Just have a lot on my mind right now."

"Well, I don't wish to invade since I'm your professor, but I hope it's not that kid you showed me yesterday, his energy was a bit...aggressive." Jefferson took his seat at his desk and grabbed a pen. Abigail snorted, her brows scrunching a bit.

"Really? I don't think so, bothered maybe, but not aggressive." She calmly defends. Jefferson rose his brows before they fell back into place.

"Well, if you need any form of protection from the guys in this school, let me know."

She grins. "I'll make sure I do that."

"I'm serious Ms.Clair, you have prepossessing features, and I care about the safety of my students. The young, horny males roaming the corridors might see you as an easy target. Be careful always, okay?"

There was a bit of a pause before she nodded. "Thank you, professor." He nods and places his attention to the papers in front of him. Abigail made her way to leave and caught Jefferson taking one last glance at her as she left.

He smiled and Abby returned it. When she left the room her smile dropped instantly.

"Get it together Abby."

Johnathan stood up and glared at Jefferson. "Stop talking to her."

Upon hearing his son's voice, he glanced up only to see Johnathan standing in the last row of chairs. Jefferson exhaled heavily. "She's a student of mine, words are to be exchanged at some point. And stop sneaking into my classroom."

"Fuck you." He spat. Jefferson exhaled and set his pen down, giving Johnathan his full attention.

"What is it that you want, Johnathan? I'm dead to you remember?"

"I don't want you talking to her."

"Well she's my student so I can't see how that's possible." He mumbles. Johnathan pranced down the row of chairs and up to his father's desk.

"I saw the way you looked at her."

Jefferson sat back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Johnathan, I know you hate me because of your childhood or whatever, but don't be delusional."

Johnathan clenched his jaw, grinding his teeth together. As he shot daggers at the man sitting on the other side of the desk, he couldn't help the anger growing inside of him.

Jefferson noticed this, the clenching and unclenching of Johnathan's fists, his minor shaking due to his anger, his heavy but short puffs of breath.

He hates bickering with the boy, and to be honest, he's tired of it. But if Johnathan wants to act like his life is still falling apart even after he allowed him to do what he wanted, then so be it.

"You can head to your next class now." Jefferson finally says. Johnathan reached over and grabbed his father by the tie.

"You don't fucking tell me what to do anymore." He grits out. Still, the boy glared and Jefferson noticed surface tears.

"Well I just did. Now go on...don't want to be late."

Johnathan released the man and stormed out of the room. When he left, Jefferson sighed and fixed his tie, continuing his work.

As for Johnathan, he made his way to his next class. Sure he was pent up but he knew he couldn't show up in the mood he's in. Not only that, he's got Abby to face.

Thinking of her calmed him down. As he made his way across the grassy terrain in a leisurely manner he couldn't help but think about their kiss.

Kissing her was something he always wanted to do but he didn't think it'd happen like that. It was perfect too, nobody was around to interfere, it was quiet, warm, sweet and mind boggling.

Johnathan touched his chest feeling the vibrations of his heart. He wants to kiss her again, to hold her, to smell her.

Johnathan shook his head and kissed his teeth. "Why'd you have to kiss me back, Abby?"

Johnathan finally reached his class five minutes later and cleared his throat. He walked in with a small smirk on his face. His eyes ventured to where he was expecting Abigail to be seated but his smirk vanished when he noticed her talking and laughing with Tony on the opposite side of the room.

It was only when Tony noticed him that Abigail stopped her laughter, following the boys gaze. When she looked at Johnathan her smile dropped.

Johnathan tore his gaze away and took his seat alone on the opposite side of the room.

"Now before I continue with class, I want everyone to know that there is going to be a test on this tomorrow so please pay attention and study." Mr.Magwell informs. Some of the people groaned but the man didn't care.

"Let's get into it shall we?"
