"I won't be long" he said as she got off him, she watched as he threw on a pair of sweatpants and walked out the room

She vaguely heard their discussion, they had moved to the kitchen with a sigh she got out of bed and went into the bathroom

When she opened the door she saw Sirius all dressed and sitting at the end of the bed

"What did Kingsley want?"

"A mission" he said as she approached him

"A mission?"

"Yea.....Dumbeldore wants me to check somethings out" he said as he stood up

"And this mission what exactly does he want you checking out?"

"Some old ruins" he said shrugging

He was being vauge Marlene knew it but when it came to these missions it was best to keep the information to a minimum

"When do you leave?" She asked and leaned into him

"Now, Love" he said as he wrapped his arms around her

"No breakfast then?"

"Rain check?"

"Only for you" she said and kissed him

"I love you" he said and pulled away from her before pulling out a box from his pocket

"What's this?"

"Anniversary gift'' He mumbled as she opened it

It was a key, a key to his flat

"Wh-

"Move in with me?"

Marlene looked at him with wide eyes before throwing her arms around him

"Yes!"

"Good! Feel free to settle in okay? I should be back in a couple weeks"

"I love you, Sirius Black"

"I love you, Marlene McKinnon now and always.....till death do us part" he said holding her close

"Right" she mumbled as she followed him into the living room

"I mean it McKinnon.....I'm gonna marry you when I get back.....I promise" he said before kissing her cheek and stepping into the floo

"Don't make promises you can't keep Black!" He distinctly heard as the flames engulfed him
