Marlene silently cursed the castle for having so many floors and for Godric Gryffindor for having chosen the tallest tower

Sirius walked in step with her fiddling with his tie while they stood at the end of the moving stairs to come to a stop

"Are you doing good? I me-

"Just fine thanks!" Marlene stiffly said and climbed onto the stairs taking two steps at a time

Marlene didn't stop there she continued on to her dorm and slammed the door shut behind her

The week was torture for Marlene, she had gotten her period and looked like she had stumbled out of a bar

The girls had left and Marlene had to be at the Quittich pitch in two minutes for tryouts

Jamie Wood was not one to mess with especially when it came to Quittich and give it was his last year it was worst

Marlene ran through the hall ramming into everyone and apologizing to them as ran past

Once she reached the pitch she saw the team

"Now I assume you know that the trials we're holding this year are for the team next year...... that means you will be chosen but won't play until next year.....I hope you guys can understand this is our last year and we'd like to play one last season" Jamie said

Someone put their hand up

''Yes"

"But your seeker and Chaser aren't in their seventh year"

"Well their both in contest for captin next year so this is big moment"

"Now let's get this started"

Marlene , a forth year girl and Claren Jones tried out for Chasers with James monitoring them

On the opposite end if the field Sirius and Docras were trying out for beaters

Soon they tryouts were over

"Well there are some decisions to be made the list will be posted in the common room and come September the selected lot will take over with you new captin.......dismissed"

Marlene walked back to the stands where she left her bag and opened it grabbing her sketch book as she sat down over looking the pitch

It was evening the sun was going down and landscape was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen

"Marly!!!" James screeched as he ran up the stairs to her with Sirius following suit
