Marlene's froze and then turned around to face the person
"Know I was what??"
"The cat"
"What do you mean the cat??"
"The other day the white cat it was you"
"I think you been spending to much time w-
"Save it Marlene!! I checked the map the second you disappeared up the stairs"
"What are going to do tell on me?? Coz I know a big secret about your Remus"
Remus stared at the girl then something snapped he stepped in front of her and pushed her into the wall
"What do you know??" He sneered
"Just about your furry little problem"
Marlene watched his demeanor break as he stared at her
"Wai- your really a werewolf??" She asked looking at Remus who reluctantly nodded his head
"Wow"
Marlene let realisation wash over her Lily was right Marlene had her doubts
In their second year she had wandered into the hospital after hours on the night of the full moon in her cat form and saw Remus there bloodied and bruised
"I - I understand if you don't want to be friends anymore" Remus said wiping under his eyes
"What?? Remus!! Don't be absurd" Marlene yelled and hugged him
"I-i'm a monster"
"What n-no !! Remus you are the best person alive don't you be as stupid as to say your a monster!!" Marlene said and hugged him tighter
"Your not going to tell??" He asked and pulled away from her
"No Remus your my friend and this is a secret I'll take to the grave" Marlene said with a smile
"But you might want to be careful of Lily and Snape their getting awfully suspicious"
"Lily too??"
"Yeah and let me tell you she got her facts and evidence"
Looking at Remus' panicking demeanor she sighed and held her pinkie out
"I wouldn't tell if you won't.......Deal??"
Remus looked at her and gave her a smile before linking his pinky with hers
"Deal"
"How long have you known??" Remus asked as they walked back to the common room
"Second year"
"Your an animagi how long??"
"Since I was nine Michael thought it would be a good idea to try it over the summer"
"You always come to visit me in the hospital wing don't you??" Remus asked looking at her
"First it was honest curiosity then I made it a part of my routine"
"Marlene" Remus said as they stood at the bottom of the dormitory stairs
"Thanks"
"Rem your important to me always will be and don't you forget that" Marlene said hugging him
"Sleep well kitty cat " Remus said kissing her forehead before climbing up the stairs while Marlene walked up tot he girls dorm
Sirius stood in the far corner of the common room she was drunk and didn't hear much of their conversation but he didn't like how friendly they were acting
