Christmas eve had arrived and the Black family household was abruptly awoken by Bellatrix Lestrange who left 10 minutes later for Malfoy Manor

"Woke you up too??" a half awake Walburga mumbled as Sirius walked into the drawing room where she was sat over a cup of tea

Sirius grunted in response and moved to the window where his owl was perched with two letters

Sirius opened the first letter

Hope your doing okay Pads I miss you as always mate
Mum's made you some brownies and already packed them and what not.....I got your gift with me I'll give to you at school

Hope the holidays have been treating you fair.....I'm doing well last one was a little rough but I'm fine

Sirius put his letters away just as Regulus stumbled down the stairs in his stripped pajamas

"Was Bella here??" He asked sitting down next to Sirius

"What gave it away the laughter or mindless chatter" Walburga grumbled making Sirius chuckle

The three sat in silence as Kreacter bought out hot cups of tea

"How much do you reckon that crystal duck was??" Sirius asked

"The Malfoy's are extravagant they'd probably spent a 1000 for a pair of shoes" Walburga said sipping hee tea

"The wedding was nice though" Regulus said rubbing his nose which was red due to the cold

"It's a Saturday" Orion mumbled as he walked into the room his hair sticking up in different directions

"Why is my family up at 3:15 in the morning on a Saturday??" Orion asked looking around the room

"What makes you think we're not usually up at this time??"

"Please we've been married 16 years you'd sleep through an earthquake......and those two even worse" Orion said sitting down

"What's the rest of the day?? Or is it too early" Sirius spoke after a few moments

"Well everyone will be coming over for lunch and by that I mean Cygnus and Druella honestly I'm not even sure lunch maybe early dinner??"

"Well we're going to eat roast anyway" Orion said

"With mashed pa-ta-toes" Regulus said making everyone snort
