October 22nd
My bruise is almost completely gone now, thankfully. It's not even noticeable now and the only way it would be is if I held a flashlight up to it and pointed it out.
Yesterday, Kai and I went to get alterations done on a matching suit and dress that Kai had picked out for us without telling me. He said he wanted to it be a surprise and that Aurua helped him.
I wasn't going to be mad about it but I think I would've liked to have been a little angry so that when I saw how beautiful the dress is, it would've been more of a shock.
It was like something out of a fairy tale. It's black and it has off shoulder sleeves that are round and puffy but with a ruffle to them. The chest area is cupped inward and shaped almost like a wave. The entire dress is made up of a silky material and when I tried it on, it felt perfect. It was long enough, tight in places I didn't even know I had, and it even kind of smelled like brownies.
Kai's suit is black as-well. It's very classy looking but the way he already carries himself as if he's the best looking the one in the room, it made the suit look even better.
Now we have to get ready for the real thing and I've never been more nervous in my life.
"What if I embarrass you?" I questioned as I looked at him through the mirror.
He stared back at me, his eyebrow raised slightly and his hair framing his face like he was a prince. "I don't think that's possible. I can't even be embarrassed."
I continued to string my fingers through my hair as I attempted to tie it up so that it was in a stringy bun. Kai's shoes clicked across the floor as he slowly approached me.
"The only person that can bring me feelings of embarrassment," his finger grazed across my neck as he pushed my hair out of the way "is you." He gently pressed his lips onto my skin, the warmth of his lips soothing my nerves for just a moment.
"And I promise you only ever make me embarrassed because I all of a sudden lose my ability to speak when you look at me. So don't worry, Moon, you can't embarrass me. Okay?"
I shut my eyes as I let out a deep breath. "Okay."
"Look at me."
My eyes fluttered open as his fingers held my jaw and forced my eyes toward his. "You look so beautiful. More beautiful than anybody I have or will ever see. Don't be nervous."
I nodded as I flickered my gaze between his mesmerizing brown eyes. "Kiss me." I spoke softly. "It'll make me feel better."
He chuckled before he leaned over slightly, his lips connecting with mine and my eyes fluttering shut at the blissful feeling of his sweet touch.
