It's been a few days, with everyone preparing for the upcoming Alola Pokémon League. During that time, Sophocles gained his own Z-Ring, along with the Bug Z-Crystal. Currently, the Pokémon School class is fishing off a reef, and Cloud and Lana decide to venture farther out to sea inside one of Brionne's balloons. Inteleon was swimming right next to Brionne.
Cloud: These balloons are amazing.
Lana: Yeah, Brionne's in top form today!
Brionne: Brionne!
Inteleon: Teleon!
Brionne was entranced by Inteleon's gracefulness.

As the two ventured out further, they were suddenly caught up in a whirlpool, surprising them.
Lana: What is this!?
Cloud: A whirpool!?
The whirlpool proceeded to get stronger and stronger, pulling them deep underwater.
Cloud: Hang on! Inteleon!
Lana: Brionne, help!
Brionne and Inteleon attempted to swim after the balloon, but weren't quick enough, getting further and further away, but soon they saw something glowing red and blue behind her.

Cloud: What the...!?
The glowing object shot past them, launching them into the air and onto a island, popping the balloon and landing on it.
Cloud: Now what just happened?
Cloud looked behind him seeing a rock wall, but soon heard something on the other side.
Cloud: ...O-O... Huh!?
Lana quickly follows up Cloud and was surprised at what they both saw.
