Niall || Part Three

Tyra Mason: Demi’s been acting weird, lately. Call me when you get this. –Tyra

I was very worried about Demi. I really am. But, I really didn’t want to talk to Tyra right now. I wasn’t holding a grudge or anything. It’s just that, it really felt awkward what with her ‘dating’ Ray-Ray. If she really needed to talk to me she could ask him to hand me the phone right?

But, it was about Demi, so it may be worth it. God, I don’t know.

“NIALL!”

I flinched at the sudden but familiar shout of Louis. He really loved annoying people when it came to their girlfriends, then again, I should’ve seen it coming. We all teased each other about our girlfriends, but I may have went overboard with Louis.

“What?!” I shouted back.

“Catch!” He threw a small box at me, and I caught it just in time. Noticing my dumbfounded looks, he finally decided to explain. “I asked help with Eleanor for your little ‘gift’.”

“You only helped buy because there was a two for one sale, didn’t you?”

He froze, and I knew I hit the bingo. “How did you know?”

“You were annoying me nonstop to give me the bracelet Harry suggested? Now, that’s suspicious.” It really was, and it just seemed like Louis to do something like this. I can only hope the bracelets weren’t identical so we wouldn’t get caught buying it half off, just because we’re cheapskates.

“Whatever, I helped! And you won’t have to pay a thing because I ate the food you left—”

I looked at him with a jaw dropped, and look of horror. Why is it always me they steal from? I need new hiding places. “You!”

“Hey! I’m offering it for free! And! And! Demi’s is silver with a pot of gold charm, to represent you!”

“Smart, I’ll give you points for that…” I grumbled.

“Exactly! And I had to go there alone! With one of my sister on the phone telling me what’s right and wrong over and over!”

I nodded, understanding that it may have been tough on Louis, too. And, my food doesn’t exactly cost half off of a silver bracelet. So, it was a win-win situation. “Right, what did you get Eleanor?”

“Hers is gold, and with a touch of simplicity! It represents her perfectly, I was told,” he announced with a proud grin.

I decided not to get too envious, and if Demi didn‘t like it I’d just tell her it wasn’t easy for me to buy things for girls. What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her right? And it’s not like she really needs to know about how I got rude at a girl for embarrassing her and kissing me sloppily.

Yes, she was definitely better off not knowing any of that.

“Thanks anyway,” I nodded at him.

“No problem! Oh, and have fun with your old-fashioned little date!” he says as he leaves the room.

“It’s not old fashioned!”

“Right!” she shouted, knowing I was still able to hear him, just after he ran out the door.

“…It’s romantic, girls like romantic. Don’t pull yourself down, Nialler!” I mumbled reassuring myself.
