The morning was uneventful as usual, but we couldn't wait to hear the news from Wyatt's boss. After work, Mik and I decided to go to the salon and treat ourselves to a little pampering. As I sat in the chair, I decided to take a risk and try something new. "I think I want to dye my hair brown," I said to the stylist. Mik looked at me, surprised. "Really? That's a big change," she said.

I nodded, feeling excited and nervous at the same time. As the stylist worked her magic, I couldn't help but feel a little anxious. What if I didn't like it? But as the final result was revealed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. "Wow, that hair really suits you," Mik said, admiring the new look.

After getting our nails done, we drove home, eager to hear the news from Wyatt. As soon as we walked in the door, he greeted us with a smile. "Woah, you look gorgeous," he said, admiring my new hair colour. "And I have some good news and great news."

We sat down, eager to hear what he had to say. "The good news is that I got a promotion to Lead Designer," Wyatt said, beaming with pride. "And the great news is that Trent offered you a job at the firm."

I couldn't believe it. "Are you serious?" I asked, feeling a mix of excitement and disbelief.

Wyatt nodded. "He really liked your art and wanted to know if you would like to be a graphic designer."

"Is that even a question?" I exclaimed. "Of course, I would love to work there."

Wyatt called his boss on the phone, and I could hear the excitement in his voice as they discussed the job offer. "It's a work from home position, and the pay is better too," Wyatt said, hanging up the phone.

We all jumped up, feeling elated. "We have to celebrate," Mik said, grinning.

"Dinner's on me," I said, feeling grateful and happy. We went out to a fancy restaurant, bought champagne and celebrated until the wee hours. As we raised our glasses, I couldn't help but feel like everything was falling into place.

The next morning, I woke up feeling exhilarated, knowing that a new chapter of my life was about to begin. I quickly got dressed and headed out to the airport, where I submitted my resignation. It was a bittersweet moment, leaving the job that had been my life for so long, but I knew it was time to move on and pursue my passion.

After submitting my resignation, I headed to Trent's office. As I walked into the building, I was filled with nervous excitement. Trent owned a renowned company, and the opportunity to work for him was a dream come true.

As I walked into his office, Trent greeted me with a warm smile. "Congratulations on the new job," he said. "I'm thrilled to have you on board."

"Thank you so much for this opportunity," I replied, trying to keep my excitement under control.

I launched into a detailed explanation of my experience, showing him some of my best work. Trent listened intently, nodding his head and occasionally asking questions.

"Well, I must say, I'm impressed," Trent said, looking over my portfolio once again. "You have a great eye for design, and I think you'll be a valuable asset to our team."

I couldn't contain my excitement any longer. "Thank you so much, Trent! I'm so excited to be a part of this team and to learn from you."

Trent smiled. "I have a good feeling about you, and I think you're going to do great things here."

After our meeting, I left Trent's office feeling like I was on top of the world. I couldn't wait to start my new job and see where this exciting new opportunity would take me.
