Abhimanyu pulled the car into park and got out of his car. He walked to the passenger side of the car just as Akshara was getting out and held the door open for her, like a gentleman.

"Thank you." She grinned, feeling her heart flutter and Abhimanyu's chivalry.

As Akshara got out of the car, Abhimanyu pinned her against the car door, tucking one lose strand of hair behind her ear.

"I don't like when your hair blocks my vision of you." He whispered, tilting her chin up and capturing her mouth in a kiss.

Akshara's cheeks flushed, her words unresponsive as she slipped her hand in Abhimanyu's outstretched one. He made her feel all warm and fuzzy –almost as if she was a main character in her favourite romance novel.

"Let's go?" He asked her.

All Akshara could do was nod her head and squeal, "Uh huh."

As they entered the movie theatre, Neil and Krishika were standing near the concession stand.

"You guys are late!" Neil accused.

Akshara pulled Krishika in a hug before letting go.

"We decided to take a nap and we overslept." Abhimanyu shrugged.

"Come, let's go. The movie is about to start." Krishika interrupted before Neil had a chance to respond.

"Why don't you two go and sit down and Neil and I will grab the popcorn and drinks?" Abhimanyu offered.

"Okay." Akshara smiled at Abhimanyu and grabbed onto Krishika's arm.

They were about to leave when from the corner of her peripheral vision, Akshara swore she saw Kairav entering  a theatre room carrying a bucket of popcorn.

"Bhaiyaa?" Akshara frowned, catching Abhimanyu's attention.

"Akshara?" Abhimanyu asked, concerned. "What happened?"

"I thought I saw Bhaiyaa..." She explained, uncertainly. Feeling as if her mind was playing tricks on her.

"I think you are mistaken. Remember Kairav said he'd be going to be home, unpacking and setting up. In fact he even said he was going to be having some friends over for dinner and drinks. I think you are just mistaken." Abhimanyu offered.

"Yeah, I guess I am." Akshara shook her head, coming back down to reality. "I guess you are right. It's just my eyes playing tricks on me."

Abhimanyu's brows furrowed, looking back in the direction Akshara had claimed to see Kairav before turning back to face her. 'Go on now, don't want to be late for the movie." He brushed her off, and watched Krishika and Akshara leave as Neil and he stood in the concession stand lineup.

Abhimanyu took his seat beside Akshara and handed her the bucket of popcorn he was carrying.

Akshara glanced at the buttery topping of the popcorn and frowned at Abhimanyu as he settled beside her.

"What is it?" He asked her casually.

"This popcorn has butter on it. Extra butter."

"Yes, so?"

"But you don't like butter on your popcorn."  She pointed out.

"No I don't, but you do." Abhimanyu's casual response made Akshara's cheeks flush.

He didn't enjoy eating buttery popcorn but yet he was willing to make an exception. For her. All because she relished her creamy, buttery goodness.
