The next morning, Abhimanyu managed to sneak out of Akshara's bedroom and into his before the crack of dawn. Like clockwork, Kairav was up, awake and knocking on Akshara's door, sharp at 9am in the morning.

"Akshara. You haven't started packing yet?" His voice was loud, authoritative.

Abhimanyu stepped into Akshara's room unannounced upon hearing the loud noises only to see Kairav opening up Akshara's suitcases, and ordering her to start packing.

"Kairav. Stop being an ass. She just woke up. Give her time." Abhimanyu paused by Akshara door, his voice firm.

"You." Kairav turned around and pointed a finger towards Abhimanyu. "You have no right to come between a brother and sister."

"But I can come in between a fight which includes my girlfriend and her brother. Especially when her brother is being an ass." Abhimanyu was done playing. He was done listening to Kairav's constant taunts.

"Kairav. We need to talk."

"No we don't." Kairav turned his face away from Abhimanyu.

"Yes. We do." Abhimanyu asserted, not willing to take no for an answer. "Till now, I am being nice to you, respectful but if you want to act like a jerk and talk rudely, then fine. I can be equally as rude of asshole as you. Even worse." Abhimanyu threatened.

"So now, you will listen to me. You will go downstairs, have your breakfast and then we will talk. Till then, you leave Akshara alone. Because I will not have you strong-arming my girlfriend to bend to your rules." Abhimanyu bit out, his voice calm, composed, calculated but equally threatening.

Kairav turned to look towards Akshara then back at Abhimanyu before leaving. Abhimanyu walked up to Akshara and pulled her in his warm embrace.

"Let's go eat breakfast. Okay?"

She nodded her head into his chest and closed her eyes. Her Abhi was here, by her side and he would fix everything. And she would support him. Always.

It was after breakfast when Kairav had finally told the Birlas that Akshara and him would be moving out today itself that he and Abhimanyu finally sat down to talk in his room.

"What do you think they are talking about?" Akshara asked Neil and Krishika who were helping her pack her belongings.

Her eyes kept darting back towards the closed door to Abhimanyu's room, nervously, anxiously.

Akshara had tried to go into the room with them, listen to their conversation. Because a part of her had been scared. Terrified to leave them alone. Because who knew when they'd begin to throw punches around.

However, both of them had refused to let Akshara stay whilst they had their conversation. According to Abhimanyu, he needed a one on one with his best friend to set things on the right path.

And when she had tried arguing, he asked Krishika and Neil to be her babysitters and watch over her so she wouldn't try interrupting their conversation.

Krishika and Neil looked amongst themselves and it was Krishika who chose to answer. She walked up to Akshara and pressed her palm to Akshara's forehead.

"You don't seem to be having a fever." Krishika mumbled, pulling her hand away from Akshara's forehead.

"Krish." Akshara frowned. "This is not funny."

"I'm not being funny. I just wanted to check if you were feeling fine because I don't know since when you've started asking such redundant questions. They are talking about your and Abhimanyu's relationship, of course."
