I look up taking the bottle of water Nicholas is holding above my head, he smirks before leaning down kissing me, it doesn't last as long as my insides are screaming for, but I smile like a crazy person anyways. He walks away without another word. 

"Spill" Lev says crossing her legs comfortably on the sofa.

"Yeah absolutely not" I laugh taking a sip of the water I very much needed.

"You're boring"

"I sure wasn't just minutes ago"

Her eyes widen as she laughs "so now that we're officially in the same region as Elle, what exactly are we doing"

"Well Max and Nicholas are already talking to every person they know in the area, Will has obviously gone back so I'm sure now that he's home we'll need his help soon enough and as for us we're about to dive into a world of shit, so a break is in need. How are your feeling though, I know letting Ray take the twins wasn't exactly the plan"

She sighs "no it most definitely wasn't, but Bane personally told me that not a single thing would happen to them"

"It's not that I'm not happy about this but are you trusting him now?" I ask sort of surprised, it wasn't a minute ago when she was questioning everything about him.

"I can see why you trust him, why everyone trusts him actually. He has this-" she looks away trying to find the right word.

"Calming sense about him?"

She looks back at me "exactly that, which confuses me knowing the things that I do"

"One thing about Nicholas is that when you think you know something about him, that's when you really don't"

"I'm beginning to understand that" her eyebrows raise as she smiles a little "but now that we're here, are we going out?"

"You still want to go out after everything?"

"We need an actual break that doesn't consist of staying home and doing nothing" she looks at me as if that was such an obvious fact. "Also can we just take a minute to grasp that you own this whole place?"

"It's not 'nothing' it's called binge watching movies and stuffing ourselves with food to the point of literal death. Also please don't remind me this is my house, I'm still confused"

"I'm just as in shock and it's not even mine" her face suddenly switches to a concerned glare "the other part was just sad to hear and not to mention highly pathetic"

"So you're really going out?"

"One hundred percent and I'm stealing Max for the ride"

I grin at this and she stabs me to absolute death with her glare.

"I didn't say anything" I want to laugh so bad right now.

"Your face says it all, we're just friends" her eyes roll as her lips try not smirking that obvious secret that's honestly not even a secret at this point.

"Okay"

"No not 'okay' we're seriously just friends"

"Mmmh right, and as friends will there be hook ups or is this still at the 'can we hold hands' stage"

"You and Bane back together?"

I smile so much wider, she soooo has feelings for him and her doing this just proved it "well because you're blushing I'll just move on I guess"
