"What about my students?"

My throat clenched and I swallowed painfully.

"Todoroki had a mild case of hypothermia from over-usage of his ice quirk and Bakugo had blisters and mild burns on his arms as well as a wound on his leg from a villain's knife. Okami-" Aizawa tensed- "Okami broke a lot of bones, had a punctured lung and severe internal bleeding."

"Is- is he...?" I winced at Aizawa's pained voice but replied nonetheless.

"He's currently in a coma. Several doctors with healing quirks were called for you and him as you two suffered the worst injuries. While your lungs weren't pierced and most of your injuries were quickly dealt with- Okami's internal bleeding and punctured lung complicated his procedure severely. The doctor's also had a difficult time healing his lungs because of previous scarring from what they think was untreated tuberculosis. He'll pull through!" I quickly exclaimed as I saw Aizawa's hands clench. "He'll have scars though, and will have a higher risk of catching other diseases."

"Tsuki- f**k. How did I let this happen? Okami's my student and he almost died."

"Hey, I've talked to your students Zawa. I heard all about how you rushed into that crowd of villains and started fighting them solo. But that creature they had- the Nomu- that was a bioengineered weapon with multiple quirks, it was made to defeat All Might," I leaned over and grasped Eraser's forearm gently, "You did everything you should have, given the circumstances, and nobody could ask for more."

Eraserhead didn't speak for a while, most likely processing, before turning his head to where I was sitting. "You'll tell me when he wakes up?" he asked quietly.

"Of course." Silence reigned for a moment before I sighed. "I think maybe I should come back later for that statement."

"No! -No, I'd rather get it over with now."

"...Okay. But Zawa, the moment you want to stop you tell me, okay?" The stubborn man nodded stiffly as I pulled out a recording device and a notepad.

"This is Detective Tsukauchi and Pro-Hero Eraserhead, the date is mm/dd/yyyy. Eraserhead's statement on the USJ attack..."

I closed the door to Aizawa's room with a soft click about an hour later and slowly walked out of the hospital ward. Greeting Recovery Girl as I passed her office, the Heroine squinted in my direction before scowling, "You told him, didn't you?"

"He deserved to know- Ow!" I yelped as Recovery Girl's cane smacked my head.

"He's going to blame himself and spend the day sulking." the Pro-Hero deadpanned before sighing, "I suppose it was inevitable. The idiot would probably have found a way to leave his room and find out by himself if nobody told him."

I chuckled sadly and nodded. "How's the kid doing?"

Recovery Girl sighed, "As well as can be expected honestly. His bones have healed nicely and he's breathing on his own now, though he's still got an oxygen mask. I expect he'll be waking up soon-"

A short series of beeps came from Recovery Girl's computer and the Hero quickly identified the source of the noise before rushing out of her office and down the hall to the patients' rooms.

"What's going on?" I asked as I ran after her.

"Okami's heartbeat has just gone through a sharp increase!" She replied before yanking said boy's door open. A small bandaged form was sitting up in the bed, oxygen mask almost masking the sound of his panicked breathing.

At the sound of the door opening Okami released a yelp and bandaged hands that had been clawing desperately at the bandages wrapped carefully around his head, curled into fists.
