3rd Person POV:

It was a clear skied day when a short boy wearing blue jeans and a tie dye hoodie walked to UA. His calm steps hardly matched his turbulent thoughts and every step seemed to bring him closer to his doom.

The undercover vigilante had the hood of his colorful hoodie pulled over his head and was walking in the shadows in an attempt to not be seen by the numerous people who crowded the streets. This was the first time he had entered the city during daylight and the difference was shocking. Of course he had prepared himself by looking at videos and maps of the city during the day, but nothing could have prepared him for the shock of noise and life. It was equal parts terrifying and amazing and his breathing seemed to quicken in the overwhelming place.

In preparation for the test, the green haired boy had bleached his hair white and had gotten pale blue contact lenses to match, he had even gone so far as to use some halloween makeup to cover the freckles on his face. The new looks paired with his unusual choice of clothes would hopefully be enough so that Eraserhead wouldn't suspect him and so that Nezu wouldn't be able to connect him and his original identity.

After the chess game when the vigilante had finally calmed his nerves, he was able to look back through the original conversation and deduce certain things from the chat. For one, Nezu had been able to hack into his search history, but based on what he'd said, or rather what he hadn't said, Nezu didn't know his location or his previous name and identity as Izuku.

He cursed himself when he reanalyzed the section about his Quirkless status and realized he'd fallen for one of the oldest tricks in the book. Nezu had taken an educated guess and he'd provided the answer. UA's Principal now had access to one of his biggest secrets, as well as the ability to destroy his reputation with Tsukauchi and Aizawa (which was what he feared more).

Because of the information required on the entrance exam registration sheets, It was unlikely that Nezu wouldn't be able to guess that he was Speedy. Especially since the information he had submitted included a note about him being mute and quirkless, but his voice was too recognizable to not include an excuse for his lack of speech.

He'd also had some trouble due to no longer having a legal identity, but after hacking into several government databases, one begins to learn a thing or two. With his hacking skills he created a new identity for himself, complete with a new name and date of birth (not that he could remember his real birthday anyway).

Now however, he was worrying about whether Nezu's attempt to get him to UA was simply a trap. Nervous fingers gently brushed against his trusty knife and the container of a powerful sleeping gas that he'd developed in case things went awry. Over the years, an overuse of the gas and close proximity to it had caused him to gain immunity against it, but had the consequence of making it harder for him to fall sleep. This immunity however, meant that he wouldn't need to wear a gas mask at school in case of emergencies and he could probably stay awake if Midnight attempted to capture him.

Getting himself ready for what was to come, he steadied his rapid breathing and looked up at the entrance gate of UA.

When he was a kid, the gate had seemed like a promise, as a quirkless vigilante it had been a rejection, and now, as he was walking through the gates they did nothing but loom over him as he gazed in wary awe.

Despite the present fear that this might be a trap, or that he might be rejected because he was quirkless, the boy stepped forward and continued on through the campus. Because despite his current anxiety, he wanted to be a hero.

(A/N: This is important! I need a name for Izuku's new identity and I have zero ideas for where to start. Comment if you have a name you would like me to use (and please keep it appropriate), otherwise I'll probably end up choosing a random Japanese name.)
