Izuku's POV:
Five years have past since I became a Vigilante.
I know this because ever since the creation of my Frankenstein-Computer I've been keeping track of the passing days. Partly so that I know what holiday's or new events might be taking place in the outside world that I'd need to be cautious about, but also because my lack of knowledge had almost cost the lives of several children.
~flashback~
The vigilante was creeping through alley's as usual, when a sudden rustling in the dark caught his attention.
Cautiously walking towards the noise he saw a teen curled up on the ground and staring at him with wild eyes. He crouched down so that his already small frame became smaller in an effort to be less intimidating and spoke in a soft voice and as slowly as he could manage, "Hey, are you alright?" His demeanor turned to shock and then to fear and wariness as the teen morphed into a tall and hulking figure.
He quickly scrambled away as a scratchy voice met his ears. "Stupid kid... hheh, heh. Not a bad bod either." The woman, who apparently had a quirk that allowed her to shape shift into a teenager stepped forward, prompting him out of his crouched position to quickly scramble backward.
"Oh honey, didn't your mama tell you to stay away from strangers?" The woman laughed cruelly and advanced. "Haven't you heard the warnings on the news?" she gave a fake pout and lifted her hand to her face in a mockery of thought, "I think they called me the 'worst case of child abduction in Japan'? Too bad they didn't realize that the children come to me." She looked over the vigilante's small body that appeared to be trembling in fear and smiled widely.
Any fear or shock he might feeling had disappeared, the vigilante was actually vibrating with suppressed anger. While he hated kidnapping in general, anything that had to do with children tended to make him far more upset. Maybe it was because he himself hadn't had much of a childhood and he wanted to make sure other kids got better. Whatever the reason though, the villain in front of him had mentioned child abduction and her note of his body and searching eyes had hinted to her being a child molester.
Disregarding his knockout gas and "hit on the head until they get knocked out" techniques, the vigilante chose instead to make the fight long and painful, just not painful for him.
By the time he was satisfied, the villain was covered in bruises and was bleeding from several small stab wounds, nothing to deadly, but painful nonetheless. The green eyed boy pushed his boot against the woman's face and crushed it against the dirty ground.
"You said you abducted children." he growled, enjoying the way the woman's eyes betrayed her fear. "What did you do to them?" The villain stayed silent and he yelled out "TELL ME!" the villain flinched and replied quickly "I j-just brought them to my house to have some f-fun with." her disgusting voice quivered. "Where are they now and where is your house?" he demanded. "Th-they're still in my basement, m-my house is at *insert address*."
Having heard all he needed to the vigilante quickly tied her up and dragged her against the ground to the police station, walking in and dumping her unceremoniously on the cold tiles before walking to Detective Tsukauchi's office, not caring about the shouts of confusion and the drawing of weapons.
Several police officers tried to get him to stop but he simply out maneuvered and side stepped them. Finally he got to the Detectives office where, as expected he found Eraserhead giving his daily report.
"*insert address*, abducted children in the basement, possibly dead, most likely in need of medical care." He said quickly and without waiting, left the room to make his way to the address himself.
Later he, Eraserhead, and Tsukauchi, along with several other police officers found the children. They were all alive, thankfully, but most had been sexually abused and all of them needed serious therapy.
During his following patrols he made it a habit of going to visit the kids in the hospital and bring them presents in the form of whatever he could salvage from the piles of trash and fix into being better and more useful.
Sadly he had to stop when the police caught wind of what he was doing, but he had still been able to sneak into the hospital on occasion to give them things before they were fit to return home.
~End Flashback~
I learned my lesson that night on being aware of the crises and villains the world was dealing with. Everyday I hack into the police database and scour the news in search for any new villains who the police and heroes haven't caught. My day is split between reading, training and looking through the internet for any source of information on important villains and at night I go out on patrol in the locations I've narrowed down the villain to be. More often than not, I tend to find the villains within one to three days of searching. It's still not enough though.
After the incident that night with the child abductor and rapist, I decided that it would be best to inform Detective Tsukauchi and Eraserhead of what had happened previous to freeing the children so that they didn't assume I was insane. That and I didn't want them to fall for the teenager quirk trick.
Thus began the chaos of the encoded chat room I created with them.
Needless to say they were confused about the new chat, and I used the opportunity to spam them with what had happened that night up until they joined me at the address and the information I had gained about the villain through online hacking. Neither of them texted the chat for a while after that, I might have shocked them too much.
I've been wanting to talk to them just general, and become friends, but neither of them seem to like me much. Still, it's nice to wake up in the morning and text them a simple 'hello!' before getting on with the day, even if they never respond.
Eraserhead has tried to get me to turn myself in, while the Detective sometimes asks me for information on certain villains or missing people. I always do my best to gain as much information as I can in order to make Tsukauchi proud. I've learned how to compress my analysis and information gained online into a an easily readable report. I get a 'thanks' and it makes me feel happy.
I suppose I've got a routine now, stay in the piles of trash during the day, take a small nap in the afternoon, wake up and go out on patrol during the night, after patrol I come back home and sleep for a little before starting over again.
So far I've learned multiple different types of martial arts but I can't seem to get rid of the somewhat wild instinct to lunge and claw when I feel cornered. In fact, even when I'm not cornered my moves tend to have an unpredictable and somewhat wild feel to it. However, it works and I've been able to evade Eraserhead and other Hero's who've crossed my path or have been sent to stop me.
I'm now Japan's official most wanted vigilante and I've stopped more crimes and saved more lives than I can remember. (I keep track of it on my computer though, I've started giving myself daily quota's because it never feels like I do enough). So far I've suffered injuries ranging from mild bruises to stab wounds and completely broken ribs. My analysis is good when determining a persons quirk and other attributes, but not all villains have visible quirks or weapons and those are the villains were the fights tend to have the opportunity to take a turn for the worst.
I haven't let a villain go after facing them though, and force myself to keep on fighting through broken bones and bullet wounds.
If I don't stop them, they could hurt someone else, and I can't let that happen.
