Third-Person POV:

Armaan's blood rushed cold hearing about the threat he panicked and called for help from his security team. Ishita by now was on the stage ready to deliver her speech. Armaan took a glance around the venue and couldn't find any suspect. His heartbeat fastened and was making it hard for him to breathe.

Removing all the negative thoughts from his mind he loosens his tie knot and got up the stage next to Ishita. She smiled lovingly looking at him but his face looked tired and scared. Ishita noticed his uneasiness and whispered in his ear, "What happened?" he shook his head dismissively and holds her hand tightly.

Ishita took the mic and spoke confidently, "Welcome ladies and gentlemen on the final launch of Viable Energy." She further spoke about the merits of her business plan and how it grew. She did congratulate her competitors but replied dryly when they asked for private equities in her company to make it flourish. But Ishita isn't naïve in business she knows her worth well and offered investment banking.

Armaan checked his phone to see and progress in finding the threat but nothing got into the hands of his security. His eyes searched everywhere but stopped at the group of waiters approaching the tables for the guest. He hurriedly cornered himself calling Ritika. "Tell me... did you guys check Mayra's team members?" Ritika hesitated, "What... no... I mean she did submit the IDs of the junior chef and waiters but we never checked for weapons from them." Armaan stood still at his place and everything was put in place.

Ishita's voice boomed in the hall when she suddenly mentioned, "As I already gave birth to a child... well technically Viable Energy is our first child. I'm looking forward to my second child whom I expect to be as handsome as my husband. You will be soon begging me to give him some closer shots..." she laughed awkwardly at her hormonal imbalance humor.

But the crowd did like her humor and applauded whooping for her. She took a deep breath her insides flipped when she noticed a familiar face in the crowd. She knits her brows and mumbles "Veronica...". Her voice echoed in the room since she was close to the mic. The name itself brought shivers down Ritika's body she looked in the direction Ishita was staring blankly. Armaan turned behind and saw Veronica climbing up on the stage close to them in the rag clothes of a waiter.

Ishita was quick to notice the knife behind her hand she throws the mic on the ground pulling Armaan with her and ran down the stage before Veronica approached them. The guards held Veronica down on the ground twisting her arm behind flanking guns around her. She struggled to release herself from their hold but wasn't able to. She hissed in pain and growled in anger, "You'll die... you did this to me, Ishita... it's all your fault."

The media inside the hall flashed cameras and recorded the juicy topic for them. Ishita was confused at what she was trying to do, she tried to approach her but Armaan stopped her by holding her arms. "You okay... tell me if you feel any pain... just tell me." Ishita shook her head, "I'm fine... just the thing that... what she's doing here and how she ended up here." Armaan looked at the guards removing the reporters and the whole crowd going crazy.

In his mind, the best thing to do was to take Ishita out of the venue because for him she's the first priority and the rest comes after her. It was hard to convince Ishita since she was hearing Veronica screaming and cursing her in front of the media, which was throwing her in the mud but also will cause a drastic fall in her business.

Later that night Armaan was sitting in his study room trying to clear his head but his mind was a complete mess. The slightest possibility that Ishita was in danger and he didn't know about it was killing him. Ishita returned from her regular check-up in the hospital and everything was normal with her child. She peeks inside his office and found him with a glass of whiskey sitting next to the fireplace.
