Ace had fallen over at this point, laying on the floor and absolutely wiped out from the fight. Grim was very focused on the fight, his tail flicking to and fro at each punch or kick thrown. He was flexing his paws on your leg.

"Wh-" The blonde fairy jerks in confusion, "How is that a bad word?? You say worse things all the time!!"

Ace pushes himself to sit up with shaky arms, "Maybe we got a little carried away. Ughh. At this point, I don't even care about makin' the stupid team."

You gently move Grim off your lap and stand up. You don't really bother dusting yourself off, rather walking to Ace to help him up.

"I think that's enough fighting for today, fellas," You sigh, holding your hand out to the ginger, "You all got fucked up."

"Alright. The path ahead is clear. I'll tell you what I know," Jack nods.

"The path?" Ace grunts when you pull him up, "The path to what?"

"The path my heart's telling me to walk. Remember, I'm betraying my own dorm here."
