As Per Arjun's plan he said that he went for Mumbai.(That was the scene in the chapter

But he didn't went for Mumbai.. Instead of that he went to Rudhra's native Chidambaram while collecting informations for sent him permanently to prison with the help of his police friend.

There only he came to know about Rudhra's affair with Kalpana's Mother even before the death of Laya's mother...So he started collecting information about Laya's mother and the reason behind her death

...Then they started to following Rudhra's schedule...They came to know he regularly went to Rice godown every Wednesday...Arjun and his Friend decided to search over godown..But its not possible when the workers are there...so they fix a fake workers and robbing some illegal products there with that the officers investigate and seal the godown for a week....Then one night they jumped over loop hole as they find out and searched godown..There is one secret way to out there...They made the goon faint and finally opened and find a middle age woman and a goon there...They attacked the goon and investigate a woman...Finally Arjun came to know it was Laya's mother.
