𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬 —
Neytiri was already awake when Jake woke up...
The child was still asleep but Neytiri couldn't help but watch him sleep so peacefully.

Jake had always known of how much she dreamed of having a family but it just seemed to never work out, they still kept hope though.

Jake went over to his mate and said good morning. She answered and asked the same of Jake....She brought Jake over to a private spot and said she needed to tell him something.

Jake has always gotten nervous when someone told him that he didn't know why, he just figured it's because he's human but seeing the smile on his mates face he could only assume it was good.

Neytiri started to speak but they got interrupted by the unknown Na'vi speaking. They didn't recognize his voice but when they looked over they realized it was him. Both Jake and Neytiri were shocked that he randomly just talked to them even if all he said was, "I'm hungry." Neytiri couldn't help but notice that his voice was so peaceful sounding, different from any other voice she has heard before. She smiled and walked over to him. "Come" Neytiri said reaching out her hand and this time the little boy took it. Neytiri took this as a sign that the boy was starting to trust her. Jake look at the two with awe as they walked away but Jake was quick to get up still thinking of what his mate wanted to tell him. He thought that she will eventually tell him so he left it at that and followed the two.

When they came back the little Na'vi boy talked again, "forest," Neytiri looked at her mate with a questioning look. Neytiri asked the boy what he meant by that but all the boy did was point. All of a sudden the boy ran off into the forest. Jake asked his mate if they should go after the Navi boy. Neytiri gave Jake a shove said, "YES," with a tone that said what else would do. So they ran into the woods after the little boy.

They had been looking around quietly calling out for the boy, they didn't know his name but they hoped he knew their voices. They didn't want to attract harmful animals to them or the boy so they were trying to be the quietest they could.

They eventually found the boy sitting on a tree that had fallen over in the middle of the forest after grueling hours of searching for him. Both Neytiri and her mate were exhausted but when they found him Jake could see that Neytiri's face just lit up with pure joy and of course relief. Neytiri ran over to the little boy and spread her arms out hinting to the boy that she wanted a hug. To their surprise the little boy got up after wiping his eyes and ran into her arms. Neytiri was shocked but just wrapped her arms around the boy.

After a couple seconds the little boy backed away and smiled at Neytiri, she smiled back and put her hands on the little boy's shoulders, as she did that she realized that he had scratches all over his body and had been crying.

Neytiri looked at the boy with a sympathetic look and said, "you ok, What happened?" The boy just shook his head, Neytiri looked back at Jake and he just shrugged. She didn't question the boy, just figured he might tell her when he gets more comfortable and trusting so again she reached her hand out implying to the boy to come, the boy grabbed her hand and they went to back to their hammock.

The scratches weren't deep enough to go to Mo'at, they were more or less just on the surface, Neytiri also didn't think it was time to tell her mother about the little Na'vi boy but she also had a little bit of fear in her about what her mother would think of the boy, she couldn't just get rid of him without knowing if he would be ok..

As Jake was walking behind the two hand in hand, he realized how much Neytiri cared for the boy, how she had already become somewhat of attached to the boy. While they were out there he could see the shear fear on her face when they couldn't find him but also the relief she felt when they did.

Neytiri needed this but at the same time Jake worried what would happen if they found the boys family and they had to part ways. What would happen to Neytiri she would be crushed.

He tried not to think about it to much, before he knew it they were back, out of the forest and home safe. Jake thought it might be the right time to ask Neytiri about what she had to tell him but he decided against it, after all she had been through a lot today which seemed to be the case the past few days.

Neytiri was checking to make sure the little Na'vi boy was ok once again and he shook his head implying he was. He seemed after all pretty strong for his age, Neytiri realized that. He must have been through alot despite his young age.

Jake and Neytiri were getting into their hammock when the little boy came over and looked up at Jake instead of Neytiri. Jake looked at him with a questioning look, "do you want to lay with us or something?" Jake said. The little boy shook his head as in a yes. So Jake lifted him up and put him in the middle of him and Neytiri, he went straight and put his head on Neytiri's stomach. They were both in awe at this but Neytiri just put her hand on the little boys head that was some how already asleep.

Jake and Neytiri both looked at each other and smiled, Neytiri put her head on her mates shoulder. Jake looked at his mate and was just so happy that he could tell she was finally happy after everything that has happened in her life and finally had what she had always wanted. The thing was Jake was still wondering what she had to say before, that was the last thing he thought about before he dozed off...
