"Why you pulling daddy's hair?" the man playfully scrunched up his face feeling his daughter Kehlani tug on his ponytail
"Abababhahsh" The small child began babbling
"Oh you tryna talk princess, ion understand that tho" he picked up the baby placing her on the ground, he's been trying to teach the child to walk since she can stand on her own
"Cmon stand still Lani" he held onto the child's body helping her keep balance, he slowly moved his hands from around her torso allowing her to stand alone she stood tall for a few seconds before dropping on her butt
"It's okay mama" The man began laughing hysterically before picking up the child he stood up now placing the child on his hip walking towards his bedroom, the man bopped and sang to his child causing her to giggle
"Let's wake up mommy" He whispered to the child before entering the room, opening the door they were met with Nova who was fast asleep recently he has allowed Nova to sleep in
"Wake up Novy" The man dragged out the girls nickname gently shaking her body, he placed their child Kehlani on her stomach and the baby began bouncing up and down which caused Nova to fully wake up
"Hey mama" she squealed making eye contact with the baby sitting up she pulled her body into her chest kissing the child's forehead
"How long yall been up?"
"Like 2 hours I gave her a bottle and I freshened her up cause she was a lil musty"
"Nigga not too much on my baby" Nova bent down smelling the freshly cleaned child
"Our baby" he corrected
"You know what I mean give me a hug then" She insisted, the man sighed before leaning in and the small family shared a group hug
"Watchu you want for breakfast" Nova handed him Kehlani, she then began making their bed and cleaning up the room as they spoke
