CRYSTAL ELIZA CREST POV...

I took a huge bite of the cake and moaned at how delicous it tasted. I have baked a lot of times, but I still can never get tired of eating it, it tastes delicious to me. It was late at night, and I had baked the cake during the day and kept the leftover in the fridge. I took my plate and glass of wine out of the kitchen and walked towards the back of the house, where I sat on the lounger, having a great view of the pool.

Four years ago, when I decided to move to the Netherlands, I bought this mansion with the money I got from the divorce. I know it's probably too big for one person to live in, but I just needed something huge, that way I wouldn't feel alone. But I still feel like there is a missing part in me, and I need to figure it out, but I don't know why.

"Why are you lying to yourself, Crystal" I sighed, sipping from my wine. I miss him a lot,I wish to have just a glimpse of him one last time. It has been ages since I last saw him, and I long to see him. I thought being separated from him was the best thing to do, but boy, was I wrong.

Getting up, I made my way back into the house and up the stairs into Yulia's room. I pushed open her door slowly in order not to wake her up. I sat at the edge of her bed and removed the hair from her face. The greatest mistake of my life is hiding her from him, he has every right to know about his daughter. But I just wanted her to myself. I went through labor on my own,it was a difficult moment for me. I needed him by my side to witness his daughter's birth. Then I realized I was the one who pushed through with the divorce, despite the fact that Paris was happy with her marriage.
Maybe I just needed a break from that life and left him, but now I long for him.

I took off my slippers and lay beside her on the bed, pulling her tiny body to my chest, and she stirred a little. Without her, I would have been lost, and I should give all thanks to her.

Waking up the following morning, I almost screamed, seeing Yulia staring at me.

She grinned, "Good morning, Mommy."

"Why are you up so early? Couldn't sleep?"

"I'm hungry." I rose up, carrying her along.

"How about you shower first, then we will go out to eat?"

"Okay, Mom."

After four years, I still suck at cooking, and I only order takeout or eat outside. After bathing Yulia and getting her dressed, I went up to mine and took a quick shower and got dressed also.

"Mom, I want to learn how to cook," Yulia said as I drove out of the house.

I chuckled, "I am bad at cooking, how about I hire a chef to teach you?"

"Yay!!!"

We soon got to the small diner, and I parked my car in front of the diner. I brought her out from the car and took her into the shop.

"I want pancakes."

"You always have pancakes,do you want to try something else?"

She shook her head, "Pancakes."

She is just like her dad, the time we spent together on our trip to the Amalfi Coast, he always ate pancakes for breakfast, and Yulia became addicted to them. She didn't get anything from me,she hates baking and prefers rough things.

She is a daddy's girl, I chuckled at the thought, and she frowned at me.

"Are you okay, Mom?" she asks, chewing on her pancake.

I smiled, nodding, "I just realized you aren't a mommy's girl."

"Who is my dad?"

I froze at her question, she has never asked me this. She tilts her head cutely to the side to stare at me properly,I sighed, rubbing my temples tiredly.
